great location, lovely staff
small room, but very adequate :)
Charme and professionality of staff, reception and breakfast, cleanless and the whole appearance including Works of Art and the surrounding aerea with the Portmans Pub and the restaurants around the hotel and the proximity to a tube station
not that it would be a problem, there is just quiet some noice in the morning from the commercial traffic and if I recommend your place, I recommend to ask for a room towards the backside if possible, but, it is not a must and one can stand it easely
Great location, off busy streets, comfortable large room
Exzellent breakfeast, very friendly host, very good location
Room clean, staff lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was good variety for the size of the room. Appreciated that I was gluten intolerant and had gluten free bread for me the next day!
Location and very friendly and helpful breakfast staff.
Front desk staff not very well informed about local information.
A wonderful place to stay with an amazing location in the heart of London We really enjoyed our stay at the Sumner and recommend the same to everyone who we know
Great location, friendly staff
Walls are really thin so we could hear our upstairs be next door neighbors fairly clearly. Staff was also nice but not very knowledgeable about London.
It's a clean and comfortable hotel at a very good location. It does not have a lot of facilities (e.g. gym, restaurant) but I normally do not have the time to use those anyway so I am happy that they can keep the price lower as a result.
I had no problems
very good hotel
Appreciated the tea service in room after arrival. And the list of local restaurants with recommendations.
Fabulous location and good attentive friendly staff
Nothing to moan about really , if I was being picky I would have liked a bath rather than a shower. but for my short stay it was not an important issue.
Location, breakfast, the room, the staff. All wonderful and so quiet for a central London hotel. Great pubs and restaurants right next door and round the corner. We've been twice and will be back again.
Excellent sized room for central London.Very friendly staff and a good location for Oxford Street shops.
Room at rear of hotel made for a perfectly quiet stay.
Breakfast was poor for the overall hotel nightly price: coffee of low quality, cooked buffet generally cold and always with some component unavailable, concentrated juice rather than fresh etc.
No expresso coffee in the breakfast ( hotel). Weak pressure of the water on the 4 the floor.
service was great
everyhting was good
Quiet location, very clean, breakfast great, close to Marble Arch and Hyde Park, staff very helpful
Personal Friends Greeting from the staff Lovely large bed
Excellent staff and location
Can be loud if your room is on the front of the hotel.
Location and breakfast
To thin walls...
Very clean, friendly staff, quiet location though very central.
would prefer tea/coffee making facility in the room rather than having a voucher.
The location was perfect. The room was comfy, bright and very spacious. The staff were warm welcoming, friendly and very helpful. They couldn't do enough for us.
Great central location. Excellent customer service from all the staff.
It's not easy choosing a hotel in London. But The Sumner fits all the boxes. Small hotel in a good location although on a quiet street. Perfect if you are traveling with National Express from Stansted. Comfortable, modern, clean, hotel. The staff were all very friendly and a welcoming, helpful receptionist at the front desk. My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and after walking the streets of London came back to The Sumner we slept like a log. We had a lovely weekend.
