The Sumner Hotel

Camera silenziosa. Letto molto comodo , frigo bar ben fornito, Internet e pc a disposizione nel confortevole salottino come diversi libri su Londra e dintorni. Si ha quasi la sensazione di stare a casa propria.

colazione troppo british, niente caffè espresso e quello filtrato peggio del solito. Se non fate espressa richiesta di non stare nel basement ( sottopiano con vista su una scala con vasi di fiori) probabilmente vi destineranno li', forse per loro e' normale, per noi italiani un po' meno! Comunque la camera e' carina lo stesso...

quando arrivati abbiamo avuto la nostra camera nel sotterraneo ma il peggio accade il giorno dopo quando rimpita la vasca scopro che l'acqua e fredda.Avviso il personale e mi dicono di attendere 15 min. ma il risultato non e caambiato,contestando il fatto ci hanno cambiato la camera con un ottimo risulato

Ottima posizione per visitare Londra, vicinissimo ad Oxford Street

The Sumner is ideally located very close to Oxford Street, so it is perfect for shopping. We find it also very convenient to be able to travel by tube and bus since it is so close to Marble Arch.

The staff were excellent - always pleasant, polite and accomodating. It is a small intimate hotel with beautiful clean rooms. It's location is ideal. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely return soon.

I think the buffet breakfast was fine. It could however be improved.

The queen room was small but perfect for a short break, we were only in the room at night so no problems really!

I was a real nice place I liked it better than Thistle

The staff was friendly and efficient, the breakfast very good, the location near Hyde Park great. If you like to walk, it's easy to get to shopping and to parks and palaces. We were given taxi advice, a map, and a friendly smile.

Guests should be warned that there may be some stairs to rooms-- the elevator stops between floors. This was no problem for us, and perhaps if it had been we could have gotten help with our bags, but it wasn't offered and might be difficult for some.

Conveniently located in quiet street near Marble Arch. Helpful staff at reception. The room was clean and spacious compared to other hotels in the same category.

Pity that there was a lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

Fantastic location, 5 minutes walk from Oxford St. and tube station. Spotlessly clean room, very comfortable beds, extremely quiet. Staff very helpful and courteous. Great breakfast. Small hotel with family atmosphere. Filled our expections in every way. Definitely recommended!

It would have been nice to have a hot water kettle in the room and packets of tea and coffee. However, staff were more than happy to suppy a pot of boiling water every time I requested this and it always arrived within a minute or two.
