Limited access to most rooms by anyone with mobility problems. Over 60 staircase steps between top room and dining area. Limited car parking - especially if there are more than two cars.
Bed very comfy
The warm friendly greeting, the freedom of choice at breakfast and the quiet peaceful sleeptime. Lovely hosts, we shall return.
Welcome from hosts and the bed was so comfy slept like a log.
Can't really say there was nothing I didn't like.
lack of parking room not too clean window opened on to the smoking area bar only open until 9-00 pm breakfast very late and very average
Poor breakfast, and poor accommodation.
Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
The best thing about our stay was the location, right opposite the beach and promenade allowing a very nice and gentle stroll into town.
Welcoming hosts. Food - breakfast was very good veggie option much appreciated by my wife and sister in law. Well decorated, very clean and tidy premises. Would certainly use this hotel again if down that way.
Type of Electric Kettle, had to carry mains cable to sink as well as kettle to fill, not good practice. Shower extractor fan slats rattled loudly due to the wind even with shower door shut, disturbing sleep. Not sure how this can be rectified. Ok once wind eased off/dropped.
Breakfast Comfy bed Clean towels Friendly owners
The bathroom needed attention as the loo system was coming away from the wall!!!! No biscuits etc with the tea tray & no hot chocolate drinks provided. Lock on the door not very secure - coming off!!!!
Dirty cutlery, cups.. 4 flights of stairs. A very worn out uncomfortable matress. Shower grubby and small. Struggled to turn in it. Kettle in room needed a good clean.
should have stayed longer
One adult two young children HAD to book family rooms that connect, shame w.c didn't had to leave rooms to use had to take room key in case got licked out. TV and kettle not working. Not worth cost.
my bin was not emptied from previous guests car park very small
Approx. 50 stairs up to a "compact" attic type room with a view of the fire escape. No lift to the upper floors and no offer of assistance with our luggage. Room was very warm, with no heating on, and when we opened the only window for ventilation, the rain blew steadily in onto the cill, carpet and some of our clothes hanging over the back of a chair.
it was clean
bathroom was very small and not all together
Location Breakfast Rooms cleanliness Quality beds and bedding Good wifi on second floor
Noise Early checkout time Parking No wifi on top floor
Food was good, room was clean friendly atmosphere and facilities were good
Breakfast was adequate.
Appeared a bigger Hotel type establishment but was a fairly small guest house. Rather expensive.
Room was clean. Breakfast was nice. Location was good
Family room above us, so the noise was really bad. Bar closes at 9pm. Not a lot of room to get in and out of the bathroom. Really creaky floors
Pleasant, friendly staff, comfortable beds one of our rooms had a sea view which is always a bonus. Cot and high chair was provided for us. Sunfold is on sea front. Not too far to walk to the Grand Pier and town
Quite a few stairs, had to park a little way away but in fairness we were aware this might be the case. Breakfast time is limited to three quarters of an hour. The bar closes at 9pm as does the smoking area[which I am pleased to say I do not need] but I could understand the reasons for these restrictions it is after all a small guest house not a hotel.
Location Sea view Breakfast nice Staff polite
Toilet area small
Location was very good
Poor show at breakfast it was only served between 8.45 until 9.30 and it was only small and orders were wrong . they did no other meals
The hosts jackie &john were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely.
There wasn't any wifi
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Also very accommodating to our needs. Provided a travel cot for our newborn, a high chair at breakfast for our toddler, and provided extra milk for his bottle at bedtime. Nice large family room with big bay window and great views of the beach and the grand pier. All in all a very homely B&B. Would definitely recommend!
Wifi/phone signal was a bit patchy in our room. And only a shower cubicle in the bathroom which is difficult when the babies are used to baths but this was as described online when we booked so can't complain.
