Spacious accommodation, great for larger families. Only a short trip to the coast - everything you needed at hand.
Comfortable stay, friendly owner who goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need. Fantastic breakfast.
Very welcoming, lovely room with great facilities, wonderful breakfast.
A really comfortable and nicely furnished self-contained room, with a great conservatory to eat breakfast in. Was super impressed with all of it, including our own miniature kitchen and unlimited teas and coffees. The wet-room/bathroom was great, but best of all was the breakfast of champions in the morning, and the kind and welcoming service. Thanks very much!
The weather?! It was a bit cold indoors that evening, but the uber-duvet soon sorted us out. Nothing to dislike at all!
The location was lovely, set on a farm and the horses grazing in nearby field made it very relaxing. The room was v large, bed comfortable and big enough to get lost in! Washroom was a nice experience and breakfast in the conservertory every morning was a great start to the day
Rural location Friendly helpful owner Being able to self cater to a limited degree. Milk, tea, coffee, fruit juice and bread all available in the room as were kettle, toaster and microwave
The bed was a little hard for our liking.
Enjoyed just the one night stay but was made really welcome.
Nothing in particular
Everything,from room space comfort,breakfasts ,Barbara's special touchs
I loved the environment, atmosphere and how lovely and detailed the rooms where. I would 100% stay again and would recommend x
Self contained units, wonderful greeting, excellent breakfast, in beautiful countryside. Had a lovely stay.
Surprised to find ourselves in the middle of a farmyard - photos did not indicate this.
Lovely clean and comfortable room with excellent bathroom and kitchenette. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice. Barbara was very friendly and helpful.
Wifi was a bit hit and miss.
the variety of selection of food to chose from in your own kitchen area.
only being able to book one night with you.
It's was a beautiful hidden gem, never thought it was going to be that lovely! The room and facilities where perfect the shower room was amazing then got a gorgeous supprise of seeing lots of Labrador puppies!
Spacious room and bathroom Large, comfortable bed. Generous provisions. Barbara's friendly approach, attention to detail and an excellent restaurant recommendation. Farm setting, peace and quiet.
A little hard to find. A larger sign on the road would help.
The Swallows is a great place to stay to get away from it all our room was excellent the bed was very comfy and the wet room was excellent. Barbara is an excellent hostess serving gorgeous breakfasts to keep you going all day long.No hesitation in recommending the Swallows
Nothing not to dislike
The setting, the room, the lady who ran it. All Fantastic and would love to come back next time we are in the area.
From the online listing we did not expect that it would be so lovely and peaceful and that the lodge would be completely separate with lovely French doors and decking which provided views over the water and sheep in the fields. The good weather brought out the distinct aroma of the overhanging eucalyptus tree!
Lovely B&B in a lovely place. Nothing is too much trouble. Kids loved the horses
Everything was perfect! We had the most relaxed weekend. The beds are ridiculously comfy and the decor is beautiful! Attention to detail everywhere and Barbara makes a mean breakfast! Will definetly be going back!
Nothing, everything was perfect! Would 100% recommend!
Room was clean and spacious, perfect for a family.Comfortable big bed with a nice bathroom. Very quiet and nice tables and chairs on the decking outside. Owners very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was very good.would definately return.
Warm welcome and everything we could need in the room plus an excellent breakfast. Very good value and perfect for a family of 5.
Couldn't stay a bit longer.
Cosy. Welcoming. Spacious. A gem of a place to stay.
Lovely spacious clean accommodation and the fridge filled with milk, yogurts, butter etc. Barbara telling us if you use all this just ask for more, there was no limit. Also is was a cozy farm setting that we found very relaxing. Fantastic!
The exterior of the building was a little unsightly. However I believe Barbara and Jonathan will be working on this ready for next year..
