Location, friendly and was central for our needs. It was in need of refurbishment. Our room was too near the car park and beer garden access for smokers leading to the security light going on and off. Room walls were very thin so we could clearly hear othe guests and the water systems made a lot of noise.

Good selection of food from the Nepalise menu which was varied and tasted great. Uneven flooring in bedroom was a bit of a hazard when walking into the bathroom.

Friendly staff, lovely smell of cooked roast Sunday lunch upon arrival. Lovely clean bedding. Room decor a little tired but immaculately clean. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. We booked breakfast at 8.00am. We arrived but the breakfast room was in darkness. When they staff finally arrived at about 8.10am we ordered tea we were given it in a cup and not a pot. Sloping floors in my daughter's room. Tea/Coffee in room, could have had a few more milk pots as only allowed for one drink each.

Hotel is in the middle of the High Street, easy access to shops etc, Parking is limited, in a small carpart behind the hotel, which is also the beer garden. Staff welcomed us, but it went down here from there. Reception is in the bar, which is locked outside opening times. We wanted to change our breakfast time from 0830 to 0800 (pubished 0800 to 1030 daily), but could not contact the staff, when they did arrive, we were told no you can't change it, the chef won't be here! We did not have breakfast. The room was ok, nothing special and not worth the pubished prices.

Position in the centre of town. Friendly staff. Private parking. Not expensive. Interesting old historical building. Shower didn't work in the first room. We were moved to another room which had a working warm shower that just dribbled. Despite staying 3 nights we saw no diners in the restaurant so were not able to try the interesting looking menu. Strangely no other people used the bar except for a small group on our first night who wanted to fight each other upon leaving. The hotel/bar/restaurant is in an ideal position to take advantage of visitors to a popular seaside town if only they had the vision/finance to improve what they have. I wish them luck.

We had a family room, clean and spacious. The pub was a busy, noisy happening place in Hythe High Street on a Friday night, but we couldn't hear it from upstairs in our room, and the restaurant section was also quiet. We had a fantastic curry in the evening, and good breakfast next morning. Welcoming staff, overall a great place to stay or eat. If they invested in a Lavazza or Illy coffee maker to replace the basic instant coffee, that would make it perfect.

Staff attentive and helpful. Room large and comfortable. Free wifi. Convenient for our two dogs. Old features of Bar/restaurant retained. Restaurant serves delightful Nepalese menu. Traditional english breakfast had every item cooked to perfection. Chose because of town centre location: unfortunately fire alarm opposite went off at 2.30; not the hotel's fault but it spoiled an otherwise comfortable nights sleep. Bathroom has deteriorated a bit: a broken tile, and shower head delivered only a trickle.

Excellent, Friendly, Helpful Staff. Good Breakfast. Easy Parking. As I have Mobility problems the staff were always there to help. Despite some steps I managed, with their help, very well. Nothing comes to mind.

Friendly staff. The room had a small double bed and could have easily taken a full size or king size. The ensuite bathroom could do with updating, the shower was not very good!
