Apartment accommodation was ideal for us with two teenagers

Very friendly staff. Excellant food. Made to feel like we were regulars to the inn.

Everything was ready for us when we arrived at about 7.00pm,and we went through and ordered a meal and had drinks etc. when we went back to our suite we had tea and coffee watched some TV,before retiring for the night to very comfortable beds. Breakfast the next morning was very comprehensive and delicious.

A very personal welcome, a genuine pub, a nice family sized establishment

I liked how cosy our room was. The staff were also very friendly. It was a decent room for a weekend break, with a nice sized bathroom. The pub downstairs is lovely.

The walls were very thin so we were kept awake most of the night by our neighbours in the room next door. There was also a very loud, deep humming sound that came on early every morning. It wasn't very pleasant to hear. Also our television lost signal for quite some time. It was a good job we had a pack of cards as we couldn't watch anything.

We had a comfortable stay at The Swann Inn from 4-6 Oct. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Food good too. Thanks to the two young ladies who offered to let us look at the internet as we were house hunting in the area - sorry can't remember your names. Thanks again to the staff at the Swann Inn

again what A country pub should be

The staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The food was absolutely excellent. The range of real ales for a small pub also was superb

The room was very good but unfortunately was located just above the kitchen area, so the fridge units/extractors/chillers were runnig all night so we had a restless nights sleep

Excellent room and good friendly service - faulty shower fixed immediately. Good pub food, and free wifi.

Loved the layout, the room size and convenience for what we wanted to do.

The double room sheets had not been changed and upstairs also needed vacuming and a clean round the edges. Shame cause it would have been excellent but for this.

Friendly Greeting arrived about 10pm from LOndon.Lovely large well equipped room --very attractive in black and white.Comfortable bed and side tables etc.Shower and room very well eqipped near Dining Rooms for Breakfast.The Latter was a comprehensive choice and the cooked breakfast excellent.Breakfast staff good especially young girl

One of the reasons for booking was the fact that the pub sold real ales. Sadly, the way that these were served left a lot to be desired. The beer was served"southern fashion" i.e. warm and flat as a witches whatnot. They looked like a glass of dirty water, very unappetising, and tasted as bad as they looked. I had to resort to the lagers to get a reasonable, cool drink. The management need to address this if they wish to attract real ale fans. An easily rectified problem for what was an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Nice quiet place very warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent and breakfast was great value. Staff were very helpful
