The Swan is a family ran business whereby the owners are always on site to meet & greet their guest. We have operated The Swan since July 2013, we took on The Swan due to its beautiful country location, the 19th century charm which is evident around the building and due to the great reputation of the site which has continued to grow under the current management team

Lovely bar & restaurant. Quirky little corridors leading to the rooms which are indicative of the age of the building. Nicely decorated and fitted out rooms, very clean.
As mentioned slightly low pressure on shower, and of the fairly expensive side for the food - however it was absolutely delicious so I forgive them! :)
The accomodation was lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. It felt like a home from home. The setting was beautiful and location central to lots of places to visit.
Evening meal menu we felt was slightly overpriced, although we couldn't fault the food. Room would benefit from some soundproofing, as we could hear the people talking in adjoining rooms.
Comfy memory foam mattress made for good night sleep. Excellent breakfast choice, well presented. Spanish waitress was excellent.
One staff member was less than professional following a little moan that we had been waiting for a drink for ten minutes...sarcastic comment which was unnecessary. Location on main road meant noise outside even with triple glazing
Amber who checked us in and the breakfast was lovely, the rooms were nice and very clean.
The bed in our original room was really really hard, I had an awful nights sleep, I did raise this with a manager who was very unhelpful, and didn't want to offer us an alternative, after a 20 minute discussion he eventually sent a member of staff up to tell us we could have a different room. From a customer service point of view I found this extremely poor. Which ruined our stay!
The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and tidy with quality toiletries
Not the hotlas fault but the triple glazing couldn't keep out the noise of the very busy road.Trying to cross said busy road from the car park as a little hair raisng too!
Made very welcome especially the dog. Food good.
Car park a bit of a problem it was across a very busy road
the real ambiance of a true country inn
Bed fantastic. Welcoming staff. Lovely location. Recommend to all!
Wifi not very strong but who cares!
Really helpful staff, friendly atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, excellent food. All the comforts of home without the work! Will certainly be revisiting.
Breakfast poor, one piece of bacon, one mushroom, one half tomato
Warm and clean room
This is one of the best stays, I've ever had! I love travelling and it's so difficult to find so friendly and helpful staff as we did in this b&b. Not fake help, but genuine and really welcoming. We all were impressed by Spanish girl Rachel! Thank you so much Rachel!
the water pressure was very weak and b&b is close to the road, but apart from this everything was perfect!!!
The food was good and the staff were pleasant
The heating in the room was inadequate the room was clean and comfortable in terms of furniture but again no heating in the bathroom unless u wheeled a plug in radiator in there and I didn't fancy my chances with that
Staff very helpfull
Wonderful staff team.
The staff were wonderful both recognising and remembering my preferences. The food was wonderful: tasty, well presented and good value. I have no hesitation recommending the Sean to others.
My only gripe is that the hot water ran out before my bath was filled. The shower was powered though, so no real problem.
Even with double glazing the noise of the traffic was still high. The breakfast was mediocre, 1 sausage, 1 slice bacon, 1 egg, 1 half tomatoe, eggcup full of beans, 1 mushroom and 1 slice of toast. Could not appreciate the views as the windows were so dirty.
Food good, staff friendly
Wifi fine in bar but not in room
Lovely staff and great breakfast.
Staff were great, we arrived late but they still managed to knock us up something to eat, and not to bad to say the least. Room was basic and certainly wouldn't make the top ten, but it was clean, and did have the extra mobile radiator, which we welcomed with open arms. Breakfast was good also. This Pub is in a good location for Stone Henge etc.
The main road that runs past the front of the pub, although to be honest, we were so knackered after the long drive, that a carnival and a bunch of Morris Dancers flying down the road wouldn't have woken us!
Staff so friendly and helpful and food in the bar was amazing
The staff were excellent clean room very good good highly recommend
Lovely place lovely people
Wifi was not to good from the room we were staying
