The food was fantastic, great selection & value for money. I would recommend this hotel as a brilliant restaurant only. The customer service was very good, the staff were very attentive. The price per room was very cheap. The sheets and towels were fresh and clean with a comfortable bed which is essential when on a driving holiday. Booked one night only. The price per room was very cheap - too good to be true? The property is old and very well used-floor levels were steps and stairs with listing in the corridors - Not DDA reg. The cleanliness of the exterior windows was extremely poor and gave a bad impression.Room decoration was peeling and scraped. The bathroom walls/door/shower screen/radiator were dirty. |

Friendly, welcoming staff. The food was excellent with lots of it Would stay again, but I would request a room at the rear of the property as the busy A road outside did disturb my sleep with noisy lorries thundering past most of night. |

Breakfast could have been better. I think the sausage had been microwaved to warm it up and I think the mushrooms had been deep fried |
