“ Clean, modern room with a large selection of complimentary food and drink, good sized bathroom that appears to have been recently refurbished, excellent bar downstairs and very close to the ferryport and the town centre. Plenty of parking near the inn as well as a private carpark. The owner was very friendly and helpful too! A real hidden gem. ”

I liked the fact that we were not bothered with staff but knew they were near if we needed them. I didn't like the fact that there was not kitchen and had to go out for meals

When arriving I thought "oh no" but when I actually got into the room, I was pleasantly surprised! Bowl of fruit, selection of cereals, milk, yogurts, crumpets and bread! As well as a huge range of brew kit! Fantastic! The bed was a bit lumpy, but otherwise it was great

It was lovely and clean, the staff and owners were very polite and welcoming. The bed was fantastically comfortable, and the shower was great, and lovely and clean. They provide a tv/dvd with full sky on them including sports and movies,so its great if you just want to relax. Or you can go down stairs to the bar and have a drink and something to eat. Overall,a lovely place to stay. I would have liked to have a full English breakfast, but there is plenty supplies in the room

Easy going relaxed attitude. Also the freedom of the self catering and generous continental breakfast in the room. Excellent Sky package but forgot to ask how it worked! More due to my ignorance but a basic guide to the TV might help! I only wanted the news but others might want more- not really a criticism but others might want more & be as ignorant as me!

We were impressed with the range of food provided in our room for our continental breakfast. This enabled us to breakfast and leave as early as we wanted to catch the ferry to Ireland without disturbing the owners. Bar snacks not provided in the pub,but directions given to other restaurants nearby.

Friendly family who runs the pub/B&B. Room was comfortable and well decorated. Lots of choice for breakfast too but should mention in description that you make it in the room yourself. The entrance from the pub - I was nervous about the room from seeing the pub below but the room turned out really pleasant which was a suprise!

It is near the ferry port at Cairnryan and Nick was very obliging and waited for our late arrival at 2am to help us settle in. The apartment was spotless with its own fridge with supply of water, milk, yougarts, jams, bread, biscuits and choc bars. A basket on fridge stored a kettle and sachets of tea, coffee and a bowl of fruit was laid out for us. A toaster and a heater were there for our use, plus a new tv with satilite channels and all included in the price. Our shower and toilet was ensuite. Yes we had a very comfortable night in the Swan Inn and would definitely return in the future. Parking was in back of the Swan Inn and off the road which was a plus.

Although the oom was spacious that was the only redeeming feature about the entire place! It was dingy and the entrance dirty and peeling. The "breakfast" consisted of a few teabags and heavy white loaf left in the bedroom - no butter or milk. Vey disappointing and over-priced for such a scruffy area. Surprised that Booking.com would even register such a place! Will be very cautious in future and has put me off booking through your site.

Hat seine besten Tage vor langer Zeit gehabt. Direkt über einen Pub, durch das man auch das Zimmer erreicht. Kontinentales Frühstück muss man sich selber auf dem Zimmer machen.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast arrangements suited us (plenty of food and a frig etc) It was one of small set of rooms at the back of an ordinary pub - with access through the pub or via a pokey back door. On-site car parking was extremely tight and restricted. Some of the fittings were in need of repair.
