The full English breakfast was excellent but pricey. Pleasant old fashioned style pub.
Unfortunately asked for a quiet room and was put next to a cold room condenser unit which has noisey fans that go on all night! The accommodation part of the hotel is in dire need of an upgrade.
Comfortable, clean, quite and nicely decorated room. Lovely restaurant and bar. Good quality food at affordable prices. Well placed for visiting Bridgnorth and surrounding area.
No table laid out for us for breakfast on the last morning. Only 1 member of staff on who was run off her feet because of a large group who had stayed overnight. No provision had been made for this.
The decor and the staff were really friendly.
The bathroom was in need of a refurb. And they need to concentrate more on cleaning.
The food and bar was excellent. Great staff. We stayed in room 6 which was large and at the back of the pub so very quiet
It was a little way out from Bridgnorth so you had to drive into town but a very worthwhile trip.
Love the friendliness off the staff. Quality of food, location and tranquility. It really is our little secret hideaway
Was disappointed with the new bath in room 2. It looks great but faces a we from everything and hot water dribbles out. No shower now either.
The Swan smelt dirty as did the room. The room was dingy with poor lighting and fittings scruffy. Poor layout in en-suite. TV did not work. Breakfast did not use local produce (rural setting) and there was a hair in my egg.
The breakfast was great
The bedrooms are tired and could do with a refurb. the floors were creaky so you could hear people up and about first thing
The staff are lovely and very helpful. The pub has good food and so was popular on thursday evening.
Lovely room and friendly staff. We felt very welcome and the movies in the room were a great idea for families.
The rooms were very nice.We stayed in room 2 which was well decorated and clean. The food at the swan was exerllent.
we only had a bath in this room would have liked a shower. Im being pick here.
Lovely view. Nice size family room. Good food.
Could have been cleaner. Basin and shelf in bathroom.
Quiet and pretty location, close to town if you have a car and comfortable beds.
The shower was awkward, lacking any grip rail or even a soap dish and with a very large step down to the bathroom floor.
The staff were lovely and the food great.
The decor was in need of being updated in the hallway to the rooms but the room itself was well furnished and clean.
Staff were extremely helpful, is set in lovely surroundings, very peaceful and quiet. Both the rooms and the restaurant are decorated in a modern country style and are very warm and welcoming. We had such a good nights sleep, we woke up late and missed our breakfast!
friendly staff and location
No shower in bathroom and water flow into bath very slow
The Swan offered a warm welcome, and a comfortable room. The dinner was excellent, plenty of choice and very well presented. The chef obviously took great pride
I would have liked some fruit at breakfast
The staf the oners just every thing booking.com grate
Staff were really welcoming and will answer any questions. We had a lovely room, and the food was excellent! Would recommend.
Location was good for the views, but if needed to head into high/low town, you either have to have/get transport, or have a slightly hairy walk. But do not let this put you off! The staff, food and rooms are worth this minor detail.
Views were lovely. Really relaxing evening. Excellent food. Nice rooms. Will definitely return to this friendly pub/hotel
Everything was great.
Lots of space in the family room with comfy beds. A nice warm welcome and good food.
the food was good.
just a litte to far from town centre.
Little bit out the way so had to drive into Bridgnorth and room had no air conditioning so was very stuffy and hot.
Clean and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast, beautiful views.
Footpath from pub to town was overgrown. Had hoped to walk into town along river (Severn Way) but unable to do so. Walked along road but very busy. Not hotel fault.
excellent and friendly staff and food good range of beers good views from garden
would have been nice to have a shower over the bath
