I stayed at the Swan and there was nothing l liked staying there..! The rudeness of the staff/owners, this is also a pub as well as a hotel ??? we went for a dinner at night and when returned we asked if we could be served a drink.... We stood there for about 10 mins while the owner stood talking to the locals and ignored us, one of the customers even told the owners not to be so rude...!!! The room was untidy the owners did not make breakfast as they were in bed asleep and would not wake up. My view is if there is no hotels apart from this one "stay in your car"!!!

Leaving The owner very unfriendly, would have had a warmer reception walking into a freezer, the room itself in need of modernisation. Poor check in time 16.00!

The Swan provided reasonably priced accomodation close to Windsor town centre. The room was clean and serviced daily. As we were checking out on a Sunday we were allowed to have a late check out as our flight out of Heathrow was in the evening. We were disappointed to find that there were no buses in close proximity to the Swan. It is a pleasant 20 minute walk into the town centre but it would have been nice to have had the option of taking a bus if we had so wished.

Within walking distance of the centre of Windsor. Cosy atmosphere within the bar - nice log fire, and friendly bar staff. Secure car park.

The Swan was very comfortable and clean Would have liked to be able to have an evening meal, and also felt that check-in at 4pm was a bit late, and departure at 10am was rather early.

The owners are friendly and attentive. It's a walk along the river to Windsor town centre itself. A nice quiet local to stay at.

The room was big for 4 people, that is the plus side for this stay. If I had paid 50 euro it would the price/quality would be excellent. Shower was very poor, entree not really wat I thought it was just like the location, not near the citycenter. However, the owners were polite.

Although the people who run it were very nice, the room we had was very tired and in need of redecoration. The beds were very uncomfortable and it was a shock to find we had to share a bathroom with other guests. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and was in definite need of work being carried out to it in not only decoration but in general cleanliness.

“The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was inexpensive and was extremely good value. The mattresses were very comfortable indeed. The breakfast was more than adequate and I would sum up the stay by saying that I would choose this over a travelodge any day. Better accommodation, better staff, breakfast included. What's not to like for a budget lodge? ” Stewart, Way To Woler |
