Very handy for City, and owners daughter extremely helpful with directions to City Centre. Room very comfortable, bed clean and other facilities in room all good. Lovely breakfast, excellent price for City centre B and B, handy parking outside. The room was a little dusty, and we found an unemptied bin in the wardrobe from the former occupants. Also, one of the bath towels was quite smelly, even though it was obviously clean. Not sure if it was an issue with the washing process. Bathroom was freezing, with no heating and as we went in November - rather bracing when you get out of the shower! |

This guest house is in a wonderful quiet location and only a short walk to the main city through the gorgous museum gardens. Staff are more than helpful and the breakfast is good value for money. Our beds were so comfortable! |

Fantastic owners. Lovely breakfast. Great location for accessing the centre of York. The shower cubicle was extremely small and could do with updating but it didn't spoil our stay and we really enjoyed it. |

Elizabeth and Spiros made us most welcome. We felt as if they had welcomed us into their home. The cooked breakfast was excellent and location only 5-7 minutes walk through a lovely park to the centre of town. The property has an old world charm about it. |

Elizabeth and her husband were very friendly and we would stay here again if in the area I assumed we would have an en-suite room and didn't realise that 'private facilities' meant separate bathroom. We coped, but would want en-suite if we stayed again. |

Owners and food couldn't be faulted. The room we had could have done with a better mattrass so cant comment on other rooms, and a bit bigger en suite would have been nice. |

Owners were so friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Minor point - because we were in one of the attic bedrooms, bathroom was a bit small but apart from that comments as above |

The hosts were friendly and helpful. Spiros even carried my case upstairs. The breakfasts were excellent, and we were well looked after. The house was well presented and comfortable. Being able to park with no cost was a bonus. We were a ten minute walk through the gardens to the city , allowing easy access to historical sights, places to eat and shopping. The instructions for getting to the house were excellent. Perhaps the only criticism was the shower which was small, with the water controls outside the cubicle. |

Host/hostess very friendly, good breakfast. Bathroom on different floor, down creaking stairs. Despite being told bathroom would be locked with no-one else accessing it, both bathroom & bedroom were serviced while we were out. |
