Every step/sound in the corridor feels like somebody was in your room. Tv is the smallest I have ever seen and WiFi not working. Unfriendly staff. We got a problem - booking.com generated two bookings instead of one and hotel staff charged us fully for both of them. We tried to explain that it was a mistake but they had no sympathy no mercy. We had to pay for 4 breakfasts (2 persons 2 days) we did not eat (everybody has to order breakfast in the previous evening so the hotel did not have any expences on that), also we had to pay for service and cleaning the room nobody used. Obviously this is the policy of Tailrace Inn - Get your money whatever it takes. Be careful when booking it!

nearness to WHW. Bar food was ok. Food service was good. Had fly screens against the midgies which was a positive

Not much really Room was a bit crowded with furniture and TV small and in an awkward position.

Excellent location for hillwalking. The room was fine but a bath would have been nice after a long hill day. Good food and friendly staff. Lively bar area.

a wee bit expensive for this type of accommodation. No reception area which meant checking in via a crowded bar after a long journey-not ideal.
