Quietly situated in one of Cirencester’s oldest streets, this delightful, privately owned hotel and restaurant is just 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

Located in a 17th century town house, The Old Brewhouse is a charming and characterful bed and breakfast. Free parking is possible on site, and free Wi-Fi is accessible in certain areas.
Score from 32 reviews Fabulous
In the heart of the peaceful Cotswolds, this 16th-century inn is set beside scenic Ampney Brook with a wood-beamed bar and restaurant. The historic town of Cirencester is just 5 minutes’ drive away.
Score from 333 reviews Very good
Situated in Cirencester town centre, this 300-year old, Grade II listed building boasts original beams and log fires.

Very helpful staff. Good to have my own front door. Quiet but central location.
Cheerful owners Top class breakfast with fresh fruit and ready to cook whatver you wanted. Free range eggs An ancient beam could be glimpsed - authentic!
1 piilowcase a bit musty - quite clean but needed to be dried more quickly, probably. Anyway I was in 2-bed room so I just switched it, no problem
Great location very close to town, incredibly friendly and accomodating owners, beer a bit pricey but food reasonable and lots of options, lots home cooked. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a lovely couple of nights.
The owners! Ann and David were such great hosts! Very friendly and were always so accommodating. I love the fact that the pub was just literally on my doorstep. The room was also very cosy and clean. This has to be the best b&b I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend it to other travellers.
Wider choice of red wine but this is just my personal preference.
Great welcome my friend and I got there late but the Talbot Inn were great and even had the heating on in the room so we would not be cold when we got there. Produce used for breakfast excellent, great night sleep and lovely staff.
The shower could be better but it would not stop me from staying there again.
The room was a converted stable with private entry. The design of the room was simple, fresh and light. Comfy twin beds with nice pillows and bedding. We booked last minute and arrived late. They were still able to offer us dinner and a drink at the bar. Hosts were lovely. Full English breakfast was very nice.
There was water left in the electric kettle.
The staff were very helpful, and the food much better than we expected, the liver and onions were excellent. The Talbot is only a short walk to the middle of the amazing Cirencester. Well worth a visit, and to stay at the Talbot.
The weather, though the Talbot was not responsible.
Nice clean and quiet court yard room. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Local beer was excellent. Easy parking.
Shower head was not easy to direct. Extractor fan in bathroom was very noisy and went on for ever.
We especially appreciated the warm welcome. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very helpful when we had some questions about our travel to the next city. They really went out of their way to help.
Cosy room Traditional food/good value Warm and friendly staff Informal atmosphere 'Nothing too much trouble'
location to town
door opening onto the bed
Really good home cooking by the lady of the house her husband knew how to look after the beer and her son was an efficient barman. They were all very welcoming.
We were disappointed that not many people were taking advantage of the good food when we were there.
Bathroom was small with high step into shower. Breakfast was very poor
We were pleasantly surprised at how close to town this was, a few hundred yards from the traffic lights at the quiet end of the High Street, so really only 5-10 minutes into the centre, allowing for looking in shop windows. Everything was adequate & comfy. Not 5 star, but thats not what we paid for. Would definately use again as a base for going out and about in this lovely area of Britain.
The food was fantastic and cooked fresh.
Bathroom needs a couple of repairs to shower and washbasin plug had no chain, difficult to remove when emptying.
Very warm welcome and hospitable host. We would stay there again if we were in the vacinity. They couldn't have done more for us especially as we nearley missed breakfast as the beds are so comfy !!
easy access rooms comfortable bed free wi-fi nice cooked breakfast
had to ask for hairdryer
Adequate parking. Some rooms on the ground floor. Free Wi-fi. Friendly and obliging staff. Great breakfast. Clean. Nice towels!
Single beds must be near replacement. Not very comfortable.
All, even I needed a taxi to go to Kemble Station and didn't get it. Ann, the owner, dropped me at the station by driving her own car and free.
Breakfast is quite good
I liked the location of the inn - so very close that you could walk in to Cirencester which was a bonus for my 85 year old Mom. Breakfasts were excellent - I wasn't expecting such a good cooked breakfast.
Our room smelt a bit damp as did the pillows. We sprayed perfume on them to take away the smell. I think we accepted this as the rooms were converted barns. It did not in any way hamper or spoil our visit and we would go there again.
needs an update
The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent
Nice friendly welcome
Ensuite very tiny
