My husband and I spent 4 nights here, and would go back if we were in the area. The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. The breakfasts (included in the room rate) were very impressive, and were filling enough to keep you going all day.
Staff and food very good
We are used to a bigger double bed
The food was excellent an real ale served well. Room was good and comfortable. Good to be able to park easily, eat and drink all in one location!
Not a bad experience but the room walls were somewhat thin. You could almost hear a pin drop next door!

Room, food, staff, location.
Wi-fi poor in the bedroom. That's it!
Fantastic bathroom a proper bath loads of hot water. Lovely people nothing was top much.Fabulous breakfast and evening food We will return for sure. Thank you
Very comfortable room which was a good size. Good quality bedding and towels. Nice eye for detail overall. Extra glazing on windows cut out traffic noise from road outside. Highlight was definitely the food especially the salmon fillet with cauliflower three ways - delicious!
Wonky loo seat and broken bin in bathroom. There was background noise while the bar was open but outside of bar hours it was very peaceful.
Very friendly, clean and comfy rooms. Food excellent.
Very poor wi-fi reception in bedroom.
The room was lovely and clean, the staff were friendly in the evening although the service wasn't great as they were busy and focussed on local customers.
The room was unbelievably noisy until about 12.30am so really difficult to sleep especially if you have any children. The waitress serving breakfast was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. If you have any form of dietary requirements the Thatched Cottage will not cater for you even if you put it on your booking form as requested.
Everything was great. Staff helpful and friendly, Good evening meal. Very comfortable room. I'm going back one day.
Not much to do nearby.
