Warmth of greeting and all dealings with the staff, especially the waiting staff. Good food, with plenty of choice.
The poor lighting in our bedroom(no.11)
No shelf in bathroom for vanity bags
The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was homely and very clean. Good food ... Could have picked everything on the menu
Great sized room with all the extras, really comfy bed. Very clean & well decorated. Evening meal & breakfast both excellent all round. Staff very efficient and attentive but not intrusive. Really relaxing night away!
Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and the room was, frankly, astonishing. Honestly, if you can stretch to it, go for the Luxury Suite. If only for the gigantic bed! We could not rate this place highly enough. We will most definitely be returning
Nothing at all
Paul was just outstanding nothing to much trouble each time we saw him he had a smile and treated everyone the same yes we will go back
Parking a nightmare for everyone unless you had an allocated space only downside
The food in the resturant was good the stuff was very friendly and the location was good. We enjoyed our stay at the Three Crowns
the room we had was for a couple small and not much shelf to put your cloth, the room was very warm even for the time of the year it was very difficult to sleep.
Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
The traditional look of the hotel with the classic modern twist.
noisy party leaving nearby pub.
Everything! And I mean EVERYTHING! This is a wonderful hotel, superbly run in a gorgeous location. Food was marvellous, staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. If I could give it 11 out of 10 I would.
Superb characterful pub/hotel in wonderful village and location
Kitchen staff and service seemed a little disorganised and slow when the dining room was busy, but great otherwise
Room small but clean and well fitted
Superb mix of old world pub and contemparary new design. Stayed in the old part of the hotel and the room was fine. The food was fantastic and staff were friendly and helpful at all time. Would stay again and recommend without hesitation.
we were well recieved and showed our room straight away which we needed after long journey. Staff very friendly. Nice bar and fire place . Food excellent and very quiet and peacefull location.
Room smelled of fresh paint. Room facing other building walls hence no view.
Everything about the Hotel and service and cleanliness
Views and ambience of location
Sat nav took us through the middle of dartmoor terrible busy 1 track roads
The location of the hotel & the open fire in the lounge.
Some of the staff seemed somewhat inexperienced (although it maybe that this was becasuse the hotel was very busy for the bank holiday)
We love this hotel. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are great and the good is amazing. We've recommended this hotel to friends and family who have now also stayed and have loved it as much as us!
Location. Easy accessible
It was not possible to order an omelette for breakfast (which is a shame) The dinner menu should have more meals to choose from.
Lovely quaint old village with thriving local businesses. A few local pubs to chose from who all did evening meals at reasonable prices. Three Crowns staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful.
There was nothing to dislike.
Great location. Staff couldn't be more helpfull
Excellent hotel, staff attentive and cheerfully polite. Very good ambience, a romantic experience.
Parking in the high street but not really a problem.
No checkout or breakfast before 8am
Feels like a quality place in pretty much all areas. Excellent choice of beer and everyone was friendly. Short menu but some cheaper options if you don't want to splash out and dinner was good.
Tempted me with my favourite smoked salmon & scrambled eggs breakfast then had no smoked salmon- I nearly had to go to the village Spar and get some myself!
