Right next to the castle in the centre of town. Parking. Beautiful period details. Friendly/helpful staff. Good breakfast. Room with separate bathroom was lovely.

We loved our short stay! Unsure about evening meals as we didn't ask.

I would recommend The Three Tuns with reservations. The staff were very friendly and it is an interesting old building. The breakfast was good. I liked the pictures and decor but thought there was a bit too much bric-a-brac around.

It is a bit too old for my taste; I don't really like drawers that nearly fall out and sloping floors etc, and the shower room was extremely cramped. However, the bedroom was very pleasant on the whole, but not really what I had expected.

lovely old building, very nice pub and good sized accommodation. The owner was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely go back.

You may want to check out whether a band is playing the night you stay. Did not bother me as had ear plugs and really enjoyed my stay.

Staying at the Tuns in Chepstow made my visit a very relaxing & enjoyable time. I would make it my first choice in the future.

Quaint quirky room and delicious breakfast. Friendly helpful landlady

No ventilation or extractor fan in the en suite bathroom. I didn't mind the noise of the live music below our room which stopped around midnight but others might

The room was beautiful and very comfortable, we really loved the old stone walls and wooden ceiling beams. The bed was wonderful too, I think I never slept in a bed that beautiful! The garden was wonderful too and we really liked the breakfast.

The bathroom door didn´t close properly and the sink in the shower was clogged

The hostess was friendly & helpful. Attractive old building from the outside & proximity to the castle- & also charming town to visit - with lots of historical interest close by.

Poor value for cost - bedroom floor a shambles - 'en suite' entry from hall. Bed & linnen tired & ancient.

Lovely, quirky old pub with delightful landlady. Excellent breakfast.

It's a bit cramped in the room/bathroom but that's because of the limitations of an old, protected building.

Amazing location, practically in the castle grounds. Very friendly land lady. Although our double room was very small we enjoyed the quirkiness of it. Had a wonderful weekend.

Although there is free onsite parking there seems to be a bit of an issue with non residents and customers using it.

    Breakfast was very good

The ensuite facilities were very poor.Although the blurb said evening meals were available, nobody seemed to realise this, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable .If you like olde world charm then this is for you,but if like us you prefer a decent nights sleep and a bathroom you can turn round in then try somewhere else
