The location is superb, very close to Victoria Station. The double room was nicely decorated and spacious enough for an one week stay. Bathroom was spacious, toiletries were served everyday. Single rooms were extremely small. Wardrobe very small. We had one single room without bathroom ensuite, definately overpriced! Policy of the hotel is very bad! We had mistakenly double booked a single room. Eventhough we occupied a double room for one week and two single rooms for two nights the manager of the hotel was not willed to refund the double booking for one single room. Very, very annoying. Actually without words! Since the staff at the front desk changes during the day, nobody really felt responsible to take care of that matter. |

the staff I found to be very friendly, check in was easy and the presence of a doorman added a nice touch. Very central yet in a quiet street |

Location Room design. (Room 8) 1.Unable to watch TV from the bed- could be mounted on an extendable bracket to make viewing possible. 2. unable to open the bathroom door more than 12" because beds blocking access. |

nothing at all, I have stayed twice first in a tiny sub basement second in a crap annex. It was expensive and while it has a cool facade it is rubbish |

Absolutely nothing. We arrived at 6.30 pm to be told we had been given a room in another hotel 300 yards down the street. No explanation was originally given for this. We walked to this alternative hotel, carrying our luggage up three flights of stairs in a dingy hotel to the attic, passing damp and dirty walls. We had booked a room in this hotel three months in advance and were not given the room we booked. We had to protest at the unsuitable alternative accommodation offered to us and eventually we were then moved to another part of London in the opposite direction from Victoria station. The location was the reason we booked the hotel originally. It then cost us £15.00 in a taxi the next day to Victoria station. |

Location to Victoria Station. Good for flying in/out London via Gatwick. the overall Decor was nice.Free wireless and wired internet. Staircases going up and down, depsite on the same floor. My room has a small narrow staircase going up to the bathroom. and difficult to drag luggage around to get to my room due to those up and down stairs on 1st floor. No blinds/curtains at one of my window. feel a bit insecure. One of the reception staff was a big grumpy looking although she can be helpful, but just not very friendly. Front desk service not quite a 4-5 stars level |

It was close to Victoria railway station and had some good restaurants / bars close to it. TV would not swing around to face the bed |

Excellent location for our trip to see Wicked. Clean with modern decor. Very comfortable bed and large bath towels. Read mixed reviews so was not surprised when we were told that there was no twin room available even though we had booked one for two teenage girls. Room booking system needs sorting out so that you get the rooms you book. |

The Tophams Hotel was surprisingly excellent as we didn't expect this standard in hotel we considered budget. In one word, The Tophams Hotel was outstanding! The room was a bit small. |

Very good and friendly staff. Beautiful and comfortable hotel room. Comfortable bed, luxury size for one person. Very quiet. I did not like the loud and continuing playing of Chopin pianomusic in the breakfast room. I love Chopin's music but don't want to be attacked by it. The owner might consider to buy a few more CD's so as to have a little variety. I was surprised to find only a shower in my room (was looking forward to a nice warm bath). I would advice to add some indication of the tabs, indicating which direction is for hot or cold water, and which tab is the thermostat tab. In the wash basin a sign for how to handle the plug would also be of use. |

Our room was large, and very clean. The location is excellent, and a very interesting neighborhood to stay in. The payment for the entire stay was required at check in. That leaves you in a very poor position if things are not right. As it turned out there were issues during our stay -- never adequate linens in our bath room. Also one day there was neither water nor power, and no adjustment to our room rate, or an apology given. I loved the location of this hotel, but would not recommend it to others. |

We had one lovely lady (dark hair) at reception who was so helpful and tried to sort out the issues we were having. The location is good right near Victoria station, West End and cafes/pubs. The hotel is very clean. The room was so small that a medium sized suitcase could not fit lying down on the floor without having to jump right over the top of it. Our room was next to a huge exhaust fan which was making noise all day and night and we couldn't sleep. Unfortunately the alternate room they offered was just as noisy. |

the location is prefect and the room design is very stylish as well. However, my ten bed is very small even for person in 5-feet tall like me. at first, the staff at the reception counter are not very helpful and friendly. She just gave me the room key but did not show me the way to my room. Yet her service had been improved with a smiling face in my check out procedures. Probably she is too busy at that time. |

If this hotel excels in one thing it is its quiet location on a one way back street. At the same time it is very close to good restaurants and the Victoria Station transport hub is only five minutes walk. The breakfast is expensive but this is Belgravia. |

Hotel placed just in 3 minuts wolk to Vikrotia tube station/trainstation, very quiet location. Tee/coffee posibilities in the room. Expensive but good breakfast. When booking our room we specifically asked for a room not on the Ground Floor. Upon arrival we were given however a ground floor room. Only after a long discussion we did receive another room on the next day. |

it was very convenient for my visit to London, I like the area and I like the Hotel for its laid back friendly atmosphere. I was a bit put off by the bad smell inthe basement area, I stayed in M6 and there was a bad smell of sewege, I did make reception aware onthe second day. |

It had excellent location and very good first impression (reception, breakfast room etc.) The price was for 4 star hotel but it could be less as it is more like a 3 star hotel. My room was in another building, very narrow bathroom. |
