Easy-going atmosphere. Obliging, helpful staff. Very pleasant, spacious dining room comprehensive breakfast menu. We would have appreciated fresh milk for our morning tea, ie. not long-life milk.

The bedroom was beautiful designed and laid out. Bathroom was equally stunning. Owner and the other staff were exceptionally helpful There is no lift but help with my bags was offered. So not really a negative

Room nicley appointed, excellent shower, comfortable bed, quiet nights sleep, friendly staff, very good breakfast Car park area in front of the hotel needs a tidy up, it does not give a good first impression which is unjust to the hotel

The rooms are of a good standard - clean and apparently new. The hotel has a "family" run feel to it so a little quirky but the staff are very friendy and helpful. The restaurnat staff are friendly and the breakfast very good. During my stay there was a problem with my shower - normally this would have stopped me considering staying here agian.....however the genuine understanding of the Manager and his concern to put things right means I would stay here again and would suggest others do. As a result of this caring understanding a friend is already considering holding an event here.

The hotel is in a quiet location, it had tasteful decor and the staff were pleasant and friendly. It was an ideal location for me to visit friends in Halifax. Some interesting cobbled lanes in the vicinity which added interest.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable hotel, and a place to undwind but also central for visits by transport to surrounding areas. Obviously popular for wedding receptions from what was happening while we were there. It was a bit out of the way, ie. Not near local restaurants or suitable for someone with walking difficulties.
