The service from Wayne and Ronel was above and beyond the call of duty. They were both so very helpful. They went out of their way to help with our logistics. |

In the middle of all the colleges and had part of the original city wall in the breakfast room - a great feeling of history. |

the location right in the middle of the town center lack of convenience, lack of hospitality, exaggeration of accomodation level(not a hotel but a B&B is the closer description for this TOWER HOUSE), attitude of receptionist(that of a dormitory-superintendent) etc. Staying in this hotel was a total joke. |

The Tower House is very well located in the centre of Oxford; it is a characterful building and the staff are friendly. The shared bathroom was fine for me but is not to everyone's taste. It is unavoidable given the hotel building and I was informed soon after booking so it was no surprise; and it was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was a little disappointing - croissant, cereal or toast - but there are several small breakfast bars very close to the hotel. |

The room I stayed in was lovely - comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice, central location. The internet connection didn't work. |

Location. The room was not serviced during the two night stay. Carpets need a good clean and a fresh coat of paint wouldn't go amiss. |

The rooms were charming. Although basic and a bit tired the general atmosphere in this old building was good. The manageress was very pleasant. The shower had no shelf or soapholder which was difficult. You could see dust where the hoover had missed around the edges. Noisy from 5am and then it quietens down once street cleaners and dustmen have moved on. The trip was ruined by noparking. Had to lug our luggage to bus stop to get back to Park and Ride. |

Excellent location, informal but attentive service, original building features, low-key nature, great TV carpets need a clean/replacing! Maybe on the pricey side at £110. Better £85-£90 |

Central but quiet location, friendly staff, sense of history. A little over-priced, especially as breakfast was limited. |

I liked that it was very central and we did not have to use transport in Oxford at all. It was also quiet at night even though it was in the city centre. The hotel was disappointing in that it should really be described as a Bed and Breakfast and £110. per night seems excessive considering there are no hotel facilities, e.g. bar, restaurant. |

The city-centre location is excellent and the period building is full of character. The rroms are comfortable and elegant. For the price, I was expecting something even better. The breakfast, for example, was just average B and B standard. |

Central location. It describes itself as a "hotel" - it's a B&B. To be fair Bookings does describe it as a guest house. No facilities - no residents lounge - breakfast basic. Ship Street is definitely not quiet - we stayed 3 nights and were woken each night by shouting etc on the street. Bad value for money - for an extra GBP40 per night we could have stayed at the Randolph!! |

The location was really fantastic. We loved the "oldness" & charm, the uniqueness of the rooms, the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff, the perfect breakfast. In short, everything! We'd definitely stay here again. This is pretty silly & minor - but the loo paper was terrible (too stiff & scratchy, & didn't flush properly). Next time I'd probably bring my own. |

The central location of the hotel. The size of the room was very small and not good value for money. |
