This listed historical building is situated in the charming town centre of Woodstock. It is just a few minutes’ walk from Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The Town House offers homemade breakfast made from local ingredients, served in a conservatory overlooking the garden. There are both cooked and continental options, and outside seating is also available. Rooms all have a flat-screen TV, a hospitality tray and high-quality toiletries. This was the best B+B we've ever stayed in. The room was extremely comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was incredibly good. It also beats most hotels we've stayed in. The selection of eating places in Woodstock is very good.

Location was really good for Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. It was beautifully clean and the owners are keen to help in any way to facilitate a pleasant stay. The breakfast was very nicely done in their pleasant conservatory breakfast kitchen. I would recommend it for value, comfort and lovely hosts. I think the narrow hallway was a bit of a smell trap - chinese food smells which weren't unpleasant but a tad pervasive!

Excellent location with short walk to Blenheim Palace. Excellent breakfast room with fine breakfast choices. Excellent shower. Very comfortable bed. Steep stairs to upper rooms.

Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Breakfasts very good. Rooms very clean, tidy and comfortable. Ideally situated for touring the surrounding area. Nothing everything was perfect.

The room was lovely, the hats were very helpful...even carried my very heavy bag up 3 lights of stairs. Location right in middle of town. Breakfast lovely and plenty f you wanted. Nothing

Location. Friendly, albeit slightly incongruous hosts. Service and willingness to help Rooms rather small and stairs very steep! Conservatory is small and we ended up having breakfast facing in such a way that we could not see any sky - only a tv screen.

loved the friendly staff, the room was nicely comfortable, very accomodating when i asked for more tea and sugar they brought the whole tray and let me have what i wanted.lovely breakfast, and timing of breakfast was excellent, between 8-11am. plenty to choose from too.would definatly stay here again..

The staff at the Town House were just great. Friendly and attentive, and very helpful. The room was small but very well appointed and clean. Fascilities were good, the breakfast was very good also, and the location first class.

Very friendly owners. Very welcoming. The location was great in the High Street of Woodstock a few minutes walk from Blenheim Palace. There was a good bus service into Oxford so you could leave your car in Woodstock. Breakfast excellent at a time to suit you.
