The apartment was very comfortable, and the robe and slippers, along with the bread, milk and cereal etc were a really nice touch. I would definitely recommend the apartments and would stay there again. It mentions on the web site that there's no hotel parking, but not that you can only park for a max 2 hours outside on the road, and that you need to collect a permit disc in order to park at all.

The convenience of everything. The efficiency of the system - no keys to worry about. Code locks on the doors. The kitchenette was lovely and convenient. The view was beautiful. I really enjoyed having breakfast and looking out on the sea. The accommodation was extremely comfortable.

The rooms were large and comfortable and very well equipped as was the kitchen. No disturbance by other guests. The keyless entry system was a good idea - no more worrying about lost keys. The staff were very pleasant and the only small problem we had was attended to immediately. An hotel to be highly recommended. The only downside was the parking but this was more of an inconvenience than a real problem.

The Town House is in a supberb location and has really marvellous facilities, the decor and furnishings are very stylish and the high ceilings give a great feeling of space. What we enjoyed most was the minimal intrusion making these appartments feel like a true home from home. Athough I was with my young family I do travel frequently on buisness and if that business takes me to the iom The Town House would be my number one choice of location espicially as you can avail of their meeting rooms and if you choose the one bed appartment you then have your own office while away. During the second part of our stay we were in a junior suite at the back of the hotel which was a bit noisey at times from the bedrooms above and from the bars at the rear of the building bottling up, however this cannot be helped in such a central location and an older property. The positives far outweigh any negavtives and I would highly reccommend this factastic facility for couples, families and business travellers alike.

The hotel was well presented and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and informative on check in. The addition of a small kitchen to the suite was an added bonus and made the stay more enjoyable. The bread, milk, and cereals as well as a reasonably priced mini bar was all well received! Would stay certainly stay here again.

The fact we had great contact re -accomadation ,asking us our requirements etc, every thing was easy , liked coded door system ,can`t say enough will recommend although on this side of the world not sure how much buisness it would generate, thanks for making our trip/holiday hassle free. We liked the fact that the room was a luxury suite, but with having the fully equiped kitchen you could choose to have a light breakfast ie: cereal and toast when and how you wanted it.Everything was first class. A lot of hotels could follow this idea.

First of all, the Isle of Man is always beautiful. The hotel is extremely central, whether one wants to go to the beach or shop in Douglas or travel around the island. The hotel system is excellent for staying in and cooking when needed.

The Town House is ideally located on the promenade of Douglas and only one street away from the main shopping area. The views from the front rooms overlook the promenade and sea and had the benefit of the morning sun. I would certainly recommend this venue.

“I liked the brightness of the foyer with the bar and rest areas on both sides, giving the hotel a relaxed but still formal atmosphere. The room I stayed in was perfect for a one night business stay, couldn't ask for more, and the price included breakfast. Good value for money.” Ian, Runcorn |

“Englewood Lodgeis an exceptional B&B - worth more than its 5 star rating. Spacious, beautifully furnished bedroom, comfy bed, large ensuite with bath and shower cubicle, luxurious toileteries, wonderful view of Douglas Bay. Amazing lounge facilities with large TV, pool table, coffee machine and fridge and a sun lounge with views over the bay. Margaret, your host, is amazing. Apart from providing the 5 star breakfast, with lots of choice, she is willing to help with information about the island and anything to make your stay enjoyable. She does a fantastic evening meal on request (don't miss the Manx Queenies !) This is the place to stay on the Isle of Man - you won't find better.” Anthony, Doncaster |
