The area would only be suitable for people with the use of a car to get to other places of interest round about. Druridge Bay lake, dunes and woodland areas were within walking distance. Very small and quiet village.
Very small and quiet village. Almost no traffic, beautiful countryside all around. Only one pub serving food nearby, others are at least a mile away, but there's a very fast bus to the Amble which has lots more places to eat.PaulUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

There was nothing we didn't like it was well equipped and comfortable with lovely decor and it was cosy and lovely comfortable beds The latest equipment Injection hob good oven and very nice Bathroon 2 lovely Bedrooms one Double the other 2 singles. A good location to explore the castles,beaches,nature reserves or just chill. Hope and Anchor in Amber very dog friendly and do a good deal on food in their happy hour. (Italian) Newton by the Sea is a gem and the pub does lovely foodFrancesUnited Kingdom

Everything was spotlessly clean & everything we needed was there; thick fluffy towels, bath robes, even little chocolates at the bedside.
