Room and restaurant
No one explained about dining
Stayed for 2 nights in January, lovely room good breakfast, good service. A well manged hotel. 10 minute easy walk to the town. Good walks from the door
Lovely staff Nice room
Food was very nice and good value for money. Staff friendly.
Our bed had hairs on the duvet inside and outside. Informed staff who were very a sorry and moved us to another room. Also, carpers in both rooms were tired and stained. Uncomfortable bed and very creaky bed!
Room was lovely and tastefully furnished. Food presentation and taste was first class.
Staff, walk in shower, breakfast
Really friendly staff and lovely room, nice surroundings and felt safe travelling alone
One of the best overnight stays I have experienced. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Dinner was excellent - as I said at the time the best steak I have had for ages. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel most highly.
Nothing springs to mind
Beautiful room with all the amenities you need. Comfortable bed. Rooms furnished to a very high standard and really lovely, and all different.
Only slight criticism is that the corridors to the rooms were quite dingy and there were no signs on the doors leading to the next corridor. Also, I know the building is old but the plaster on the walls of these corridors was not in the best condition, and the attempt to decorate the walls didn't really work. There was also a picture stuck up with gaffa tape which was a little odd. I would not have mentioned the corridors but they are such a contradiction to the actuals rooms which are really lovely and have been maintained and furnished to a very high standard (we looked in a few as the ladies were cleaning!).
Good location in easy reach of Middlesborough and the North Yorkshire Moors. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and room pleasant and clean.
Our room (Poplar) faced the rear side onto roof space with air conditioning units which rumbled even with windows shut which was ok for 1 night but not great. Bed mattress ok-ish but has probably reached the end of its life.
I stayed for 2 nights with my Mum & 1yr old daughter. Our room was spacious & clean and the staff were extremely helpful in ensuring my daughter's needs were cared for re: storing her foods in the fridge, supplying & microwaving her whole milk for morning & night feeds etc I have never been to such a place that was so baby friendly, which made our stay so easy & something I'm extremely appreciative of. Many thanks to all at Treebridge
Would've liked a mini fridge in our room but our needs were taken care of regardless
Location Quiet Comfortable
Can be noicey when parties for the pub or weddings have been arranged for the weekend.
Spacious room with good facilities and a great view. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Walls and ceilings are a bit thin. We were over the dining room where we were aware that a party was being held. Fortunately, as we were going out for the evening, it didn't disturb us.
Staff was excellent the lady on receipt was very good and the cleaning ladies were fantastic thank you for a excellent stay we were going 2 sons wedding
Nothing every thing very good
Very nearly everything Restaurant is excellent Staff were fabulous Great Value
Breakfast didn't live up to standards set by dinner
Loved the friendliness of everyone at Treebridge. The place is beautiful. The food is delicious. A perfect place to relax! Will come back!
The water pressure in the shower is very low. The mattress is not too comfortable, needs updating so that you do not feel the springs on your back.
The room was very comfortable and decorated in keeping with the building. The surroundings were very peaceful ensuring a pleasant night's sleep which we needed as we had a long drive ahead of us next morning. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were attentive
Most of the staff so welcoming but see 'what didn't you like' comment.
Clone of Basil Fawlty - awful, rude.
Food excellent with great breakfast.Great look and feel to the hotel staff all brilliant. They looked after us very well and the room was so comfy and with lovely scenery would stay again and again
Quiet, lovely big room, no complaints from me
Friendly staff and excellent food and beer. Rooms good, clean and very comfortable.
Shower power - could have done with a bit more get up and go in the shower. Water pressure low.
water pressure and operation of shower
Friendly staff, lovely location with great views of the hills, quiet for the most part, good breakfast, , nice comfortable bed
Our room was above restaurant and was noisy at night until 11pm. Door was being used by kitchen staff or smokers and was disturbing, however once that stopped it was beautifully tranquil
