The breakfast was 1st Class. Great value for money and what an amazing building.
The food was good. They have a well stocked bar. The barmaid (Lucy) was very nice. Jeff from Alton, Hampshire.
Quirky building, nice staff, comfortable bed, wifi. good location for shops etc.
My colleague was given a room without a shower and material wedged around the bathroom window, however he was given another room when he complained about this. Rooms are a bit small.
Lovely building, good bar and barmaid. Excellent breakfast.
Room small and unheated; difficult narrow stairs up to room
Short walk into centre
Room, Bar, Tudor style decor, high quality individually cooked full breakfast .Genial and very helpful owner .Most highly recommended, you wont find a place quite like this anywhere.
Really helpful and pleasant staff throughout our stay. Excellent breakfast and overall really good value for money
Couldn't have asked for anything more. Lovely homely room and everything you need. Thank you!
the only thing I would say would be take your own hair dryer as the one in the room over heats quickly and won't let you use it. Not good when your rushing for a booked table! Thank you tudor house
Reception, breakfast & checkout staff were each bright and attentive young people keen to please - and they did! The building retains an atmospheric ambiance of its authentic history.
One of the 2xpillows was too hard
We loved the 15th century building. Very quirky, uneven floors, low beams, all you would expect for a building of such age. The staff were lovely especially the lady that served breakfasts. Our room though small was warm and comfortable . The breakfast was cooked to order so was hot and very tasty and catered for .vegetarians. The location of the hotel was superb, less than ten mins into the town square and Warwick castle. we would stay here again if we came to Warwick.
The main dining room was a bit cold which was a shame as this stopped us from having a meal or drink there, looks really cosy but isn't . Light fitting not working at side of bed and generally poor lighting in the bedroom. Think the hotel could display some history of the building and surrounding area,
Wonderful old hotel full of character and very comfortable. Excellent food menu and good beverages. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast which sets you up for a long journey!
WIFI was not working.
Stayed for one night in the four poster room was lovely! Breakfast very nice. We would book again :)
The only thing was the shower abit mouldy and off putting.
Lovely warm fire I the dining room and and an all over inviting ambience. Special mention to young Elliott who looked after us so well.
Nothing to dislike but be careful If you are not too steady on your feet as due to the age of this listed building the floors are a little uneven in places
Loved it, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was excellent, food and service top notch, especially the full english. Beautiful historic building full of character, wooden beams and a roaring fireplace. Superbly located directly opposite the Castle.
Wifi wasn't working that weekend but not an issue really
We were there for the races it was great that the Tudor inn was within walking distant, the staff were very friendly, food was nice a great two days will stop their again.
Noisy room, very poor breakfast, bathroom needed a lot of work.
Boiler broke so the shower was tepid, but this can happen anywhere. I will stay again
Brilliant quirky environment. The staff were fantastic, very polite and cheerful. The young male waiter was a delight, always happy to help and nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious.in the evening, breakfast was a typical simple cooked breakfast, nothing special.
The only major complaint was that the toilet was really 'compact', just enough room to pull your trousers up and down and banged my head on the door, wall and sink and the shower cubicle was a little dated and a bit grubby. Also there was dirty laundry left in the draws in wardrobe, don't know how long it had been there !
Breakfast was really good
States parking however this is only a few spaces outside by the street. If you arrive late prepare for a drive round the residential area looking for a space.
Pleasant stay. Friendly staff.
Character Good atmosphere Food was good
It was spotlessly clean and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Really atmospheric, the floor in our room undulated and made walking to the bathroom an adventure - made you really aware of how historic the building is.
Some of the furnishings were a little dated. The wardrobe & cupboards could do with being replaced. I wouldn't recommend for business travellers, but great if you want a comfy place in the centre of Warwick.
Room was small but had great features The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Poor wi-fi the wi-fi was not working and the free wi-fi was very limited
location for town centre and castle was excellent.
we were told when we arrived that the room was not en suite as we had expected .The shower was a stand alone unit in the room and the toilet was in a separate room via the communal corridor
I stopped in the Henry V111 room which was very nice. Comfy bed. Furnishings were basic but clean and adequate. Bathroom was clean with a large bath.
No breakfast menus and no option of anything other than a full english breaskfast. As I paid £95.00 I would expect more, especially in view that this is a 'hotel'. Also, having to vacate the room at 10am - this is way too early.
