All the staff were very pleasant and helpful especially the young lad taking food orders and waitering he deserves a raise in wages as he doesn't stop working and making sure alls well, perfect old building to have visited and stayed in

There's nothing to not like , only the bedroom door to room 7 which is very very low to enter but this is exceptable as it's a really old building

If you like old Tudor houses then you'll love this. Wonky rooms, sloping floors, and beans everywhere. I stay here because I love beautiful old buildings.

In need of some loving care, particularly to the outside. It's not really bad yet, but I love to stay here because it's a beautiful old building and I hate to see it becoming run down. Just needs a lick of paint on the beams and patching up here and there to preserve it for the future. Also repairs that have been done are not in keeping with the period, particularly the front door which seems to be a cheap replacement for what would have once been beautiful oak.

Ideal for Warwick Castle, and walking access to town. Plenty of character.

Loud crashing doors, and voices travel easily along corridors at night !

Could not fault the staff, especially young Elliott who would do anything for you. The location was perfect for anybody wanting to visit the castle on a day trip and put their feet up as soon they get back.

Breakfast in the morning was a bit disappointing, a rather small English breakfast. Standard of cleanliness in the bathroom could have been a bit better.

The feel and character of the hotel and the amazing and helpful staff.

The uneven stairs (especially after a drink)

Ambience of a 15th Century Inn. Little has changed, which gives the place real character. Getting upgraded to a room with its own bathroom.

The possibility of needing to share a bathroom. Hot water pressure was a little low.

We stayed for one night as a stopover. Great old pub and accommodation with lots of character. The rooms are in character with the building, nice 4 poster bed in our room. Breakfast was good, we also had dinner at the pub and would recommend the food in general.

WIFI did not work in our room but was not a big deal for us Also note that there is no parking at the pub, although we parked in a quiet cul-de-sac opposite which was fine

Friendly staff 'olde worlde charm' that for once doesn't feel forced. Good shower! Close to the town centre but quiet at all times, despite rooms being directly above the pub.

Decor a bit tired - could do with a lick of paint Access to rooms is through the bars only which I didn't much like - then again it's a pub so what can you do?
