Friendliness of staff, Serves a good pint and its location. Good breakfast.
Bed matress part set down in way of bedside. Shower not very good, as not enough flow through it.
Liked the room location (no.1) as it was away from any noise in main bar. Facilities and accommodation were very good
Room was too warm.District heating pipe work running thru room meant that even with radiator off, still very warm.
Comfy bed and pillows, which is super important :)
All the hotel adverts and even signs around the building state breakfast & checkout from 7.30am, however when checking in staff told us it wasn't until 8am. Ordinarily wouldn't have been a problem but since we had to be up and away early this was really one of the main reasons we booked to stay here. So we had to go without breakfast. Also the fire exit doors in the upstairs corridors were left open all night, i think the pub staff below forgot about them when locking up. Anyone could've strolled into the building and it didn't feel secure
Friendly staff and an excellent cooked breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. Will stay there again when in the area.
Convenient. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Spacious room with everything to make a cup of tea first thing.
Very minor point. Room was warm which is a plus A sheet would be helpful, allowing us to discard the duvet.
Friendly atmosphere, good size rooms, comfortable. Good food too!
It was everything we hoped for , Clean , warm and good food for a very reasonable price , well done staff
The fact that the receptionist was helpful and provided me with a portable heater.
I arrived at 2.30 . it was a very cold day and the radiators were cold until 7p.m. although I had reported this twice. The heating finally came on at 7p.m. just as I was going out. The same happened the following day.
Cleanliness, good staff, Brains beers, good sized bedroom and bathroom, all facilities.
I have never stayed at a hotel before that did not have newspapers or magazines to read. There were none and I was told that this is normal - they don't have newspapers and magazines for guests !!
the AMAZING cooked Welsh breakfast, the black pudding was the best we've had in a long time tea and coffee in the room, and biscuits room was clean, comfy and warm, v v good value for the money asked if there was a hairdryer and ironing board available on our way out, when we got back they were waiting outside the room for us
shower pressure was a bit poor there were a few cobwebs high up on one of the walls / picture frame - other than that room was spotless though
i liked everything about the twelve knights i would recomend anyone to stay there and we will be again soon
All the staff were very helpful and the food was the best I've had in a long while. hope to revisit next year
One of my pet hates no blind or curtain covering the bathroom window even though it's frosted it still didn't feel private
Room good beer good didn't try the food prompt breakfast
breakfast not before 7.30am could have been a problem as I had to be at my training venue by 8.15. Breakfast was prompt so not a problem.
The location and also the cleanliness of the room in general
We liked it all and could not fault it
Very friendly attentive staff
Shower didn't work properly. Arrived at 10pm and could get no food after an 8 hour journey.
Free wifi Coffee tea in room Spacious Breakfast was amazing
Everything was perfect
Accommodation presentation, style, cleanliness, spaciousness and reasonably up to date with everything you could need like wifi and TV. Staff very pleasant and helpful
Very uncomfortable bed (like sleeping on a Futon. Great if you like feeling the slats). Noise from machinery that cut in and out all night (twin room at western end of hotel on 3rd floor)
traditional, still fresh, lovely food, nice rooms, great service, helpful staff
We recently stayed here on our way to Pembrokeshire. We were greeted warmly and the staff couldn't do enough to help us as we were travelling with our little girl. Food was reasonably priced and arrived promptly and warm.
We were informed on arrival there would be live music, although we could hear it in our room it's stopped around 10.45 pm which was fine. Only shame we didn't get to see it due to staying in looking after our little one.
Breakfast is included Sports on screens Decent food and beer Friendly staff Better than a travel lodge Close to M4
Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. Would definitely stay again
Shower was not very good
