Nice room Key cards great Cinema not too far away Co-op and take away nearby Probably a nice pub but I didn't spend much time there apart from a quick meal. Significant lack of pressure in shower. Very loud Karyoke permeating rooms till about 11 which wouldn't have been a problem had I been warned - I would have stayed out later. Roots not removed from potatoes before cooking, many served with them still on! Couldn't understand accent of some bar staff. No one to welcome to breakfast, left in confusion. Not very good welcome on arrival, no thank you on departure, nothing in fact.

The staff were fantastic. Went out of their way to help us. The double room was immaculate and very spacious, with a large bathroom. I'd most definitely stay at this place again and would recommend to family and friends. The shower took some getting used to, but nothing was worth complaining about. I also found the bedroom a little too warm. Only had the one window that would open.

Location, friendly staff, comfortable accomodation, good breakfast, good room rate I was in room 11, which being at the back of the accomodation took about ten minutes for the shower to get hot enough to use.

We had an excellent stay, breakfast excellent, room spotlessly clean & ideal.staff experienced , friendly with a nothings too much trouble attitude.Even though there was a hen night party meal in dining room, our evening food was excellent & came out superfast. We arrived with our friends, 3 rooms in total booked, we had 2 16ft sea canoes & 2 13 ft paddle boards, a camper van & large car, and true to form no trouble there, large safe carpark right in front of inn. We travel twice a year to Aberavon for competitions, and will definitely stay here next time.excellent on all counts.

The friendly and helpful staff. The location for the purpose of our visit No staff at breakfast - fire alarm went off at 6.00am and 7.45am and there was no one present at the hotel. A staff member told us that he thought his shift started at 6.00pm not 6.00am therefore the hotel was totally unsupervised. Potentially lethal! All the staff were really friendly and apologetic
