Surrounded by countryside, The Twisted Willows is situated on the Pictish Trail, which caters for long walks and cycles. Horses, sheep, chickens and ducks are kept on site, which guests can view from their bedroom window. A queen-size bed, en suite shower room and a view of the garden and barley fields is provided in The Twisted Willows room. Complimentary toiletries are also provided. A gourmet-style highland breakfast is served in the dining room, as well as vegetarian options and smoked salmon. Tain town centre is just a 5-minute drive away, and offers many excursions, restaurants and shops. The award-winning beach at Balintore is only 4 miles away and Inverness city centre is 40 minutes by car. Delightful host, excellent breakfasts and clean comfortable room. If I have to pick something it would be that extra care is required when driving from the property onto the main road due to restricted visibility.

Modern, clean, comfortable, very welcoming and friendly. Own key. Within easy reach of nearby town, Tain, which is well endowed with supermarkets, local shops, restaurants and cafés. Good value for money. No hesitation in recommending.

Very comfy bed, delicious breakfast and friendly owner. Excellent service. Website implied this was a hotel but it was a b & B. No problem if I had known. Only discovered on arrival and after a long drive then had to go out and find dinner several miles away

Very nice and cosy room, perfectly arranged and clean. Full confort, with space for luggage and nice bathroom. The breakfast is amazing, the food (breakfast but also the tea choice in the room) is of a very high quality.

Petit B&B très sympathique. Une petite maison neuve sans beaucoup de charme mais une propriétaire adorable, une chambre très confortable, et un petit déjeuner extra. Donc si vous cherchez un B&B vers Tain, n'hésitez pas.

Nous avons dû passer trois fois avant de trouver la place. Il y a beaucoup de consignes négatives sur les papiers laissés ici et là dans la chambre,ça devient irritant.
