Staff Frindly Food Good Price Less than AVG
Proximity to main part of Cambridge could eat in inn
A bit untidy and disorganised food was expensive and breakfast ordinary.
Surprised at how spacious the accommodation was
The Lord Byron is clean and the food is good. Perfect for a night or two's stay when working away from home.
We like that you walk out of the guess room and into the beer garden. Good location for the park and ride.
Quiet Friendly staff Relaxed restaurant with both restaurant chamber and more relaxed bar tables.
Breakfast was nice and hot .we had a pleasant stay, thank you
good location just 4miles from city centre. quiet location very picturesque as we travelled through Grantchester to get to the east of cambridge. lots of car parking spaces. the breakfasts were very good. we didnt try any other meals. the rooms were fine
the beds could do with a mattress topper but that was a minor problem. had to take a hair dryer.
Friendly staff, good food only one thing,I just thought it was a bit pricey,I think £70 would make it better value
Made to feel very welcome. Rooms were very clean and Wifi was best we've seen during this holiday. Evening meal in the Inn was good and breakfast cooked to order was lovely. Nice beer garden for the warm afternoons. Parking was easy and close to room, and easy to get into Cambridge.
Nothing to speak of.
It had masses of potential but nothing was at its best.
Friendly staff and the pub was well located for Cambridge park & ride
The wifi didn't reach our room
Modern accommodation separate from the main pub, meant it was nice and quite.
Shower not the most powerful !
The generous breakfast.
Old furniture destined for the dump on a trailer outside the door/window to the accommodation.
The bed was very comfortable; the staff extremely friendly and courteous. Good air conditioning unit and TV fine
The general feel of neglect, the bathroom in poor condition with the mixer tap unit very loose on the sink and the shower head poor. Not much choice of breakfast, I asked for scrambled eggs and received an omelette, a friend asked for fried bread and got French toast (eggy bread).
Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. The tea and coffee etc plentiful. The breakfast was excellent every day.
Menu limited so didn't eat there in the evenings. Biggest problem is that it is too far to walk to city and parking is ridiculously expensive so had to use park and ride which was very good but did make it a bit of an expedition.
It was an excellent location for a course I was attending.
Unclean and possibly unhygienic.
Room comfortable and clean, air conditioning available and working. Nice surroundings.
Shower poor - hot water took ages to come through and pressure was low. Hot tap in wash basin not working properly. Only one chair - not enough for two persons. Breakfast was poor - bacon hard, egg overcooked.
Good pub food Position for Cambridge Beer garden
Bathroom facilities No wi fi in rooms Breakfast could be much better
Great location for Addenbrookes and with a good price for Cambridge.
Book early as there are only a few rooms. It had free internet but was not able to connect.
Value for money and good facilities
All the staff were great - friendly, polite, helpful Excellent food - evening meal & breakfast Comfy beds Great location for P&R & city centre Good value Lovely garden & kids play area
Some minor maintenance required in en-suite (tap) Weak shower, but adequate
Ease of Parking Rooms on ground floor level Good choice of beers and lagers Walk in Shower Excellent Breakfast Friendly Staff especially the lady at breakfast
No Hangers in wardrobes
Needed somewhere close to addenbrookes so convenient for that
Rooms very basic and fixtures and fittings quite cheap
The friendly staff at breakfast time. The location is ideal for Cambridge and at walking distance from the Park and Ride.
Several things didn't work in bedroom - TV, lights, pedal bin. Dining room was untidy not up to standard, several lights not working, electric wires dangling, menu basic and steak was cold. Bar staff drinking on the other side of the bar is just not appropriate and the welcome by them was poor. Sorry but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
