Booked 2 rooms, got upgraded to one of the gorgeous new suites, unfortunately couldnt take full advantage as out early, in late on business, but next time !!!
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Excellent breakfast and comfy bed
Small room and bathroom. Maybe reflected in price
not being told most of the hotel was closed for renovation
Lovely spacious room
Noise from traffic
Friendly welcome and good breakfast
The staff were all really helpful We were travelling with our dog and they went out of their way to acomadate her.
Nothing really, the hotel is looking a little tired in parts but they appear to be doing some upgrades at the moment
Good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Great ancient building.
Overpriced. The room was £94 but should not have been more than about £65 to £70. The restaurant was good but again, overpriced. I understand the room is due for refurbishment. Until then the price should be lower.
The beds were super comfortable. The one breakfast we were able to enjoy was the best we had during our entire stay (10 days) in England!
Lovely hotel will be great after the refurb.
A little tired but generally good
Service at Dinner was far too slow. We had to wait at least 25 minutes for our Main Course and about the same time for Desert
Lovely place, excellent food. Quirky room, not a bit of it straight, comfortable beds and lovely linen. Food was scrummy. Lovely staff.
Near road and my son was disturbed early, however I didn't notice.
Friendly staff and excellent catering
Staff were very friendly. Ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both meals.
Super comfy bed! Welcoming items, like tea and cookies which was nice. Good breakfast selection.
It is on the corner of two main streets, and our room faced the street, so traffic got a bit noisy at times. Mostly during the day though, not to bad at night.
NO PROBLEMS CHEERFUL STAFF FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE
Parking off site. Room so small. Would not let us take a drink down into the lounge unless we bought the drink from their bar.the whole place needs to be renovated.
The property has great charm. The door jambs are low, the floor sloped and the signage to warn you of such things was clever. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. I usually don't like to eat breakfast in the hotels I sleep in but this one felt more like a large B&B and it was very tasty with lots of variety. For anyone who wants to be right in the middle of the Cotswolds, this is the town to be in.
Attentive staff. Nice public lounge. Convenient parking.
Some rooms are bothered by traffic noise. Staff moved us upon request.
Excellent location. Easy and convenient parking. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good progress made on refurbishment.
General style and comfort
Staff was very nice and helpful. We liked the breakfast spread; totally spoilt for choices. Room was quiet (despite window giving on the main road). We really enjoyed the old Tudor structure of the hotel.
Nothing we can think of.
Very friendly. Welcomed our dogs and had a lovely stay
