Friendly, efficient staff. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Room/bathroom spotless. Bed huge and comfortable. Room light and airy. Complementary water and fresh milk and biscuits on request.

Had to pull up a chair from against a wall to complete check-in. Would have liked slippers to be provided.

Lack of attention to detail. To book top end room and then be initially allocated room with no bath on 2nd floor which was dark and small is unacceptable service. Evening meal delivered without the ordered bottle of wine which was then delivered unopened without a cockscrew! Careless!

Entrance to the breakfastrestaurant going through the gym is a bit offputting because of the typical gym fumes.

I was so disappointed about the service of the front desk staffs that my trouser was sent to laundry under the same day service and they promised I would get it back around 3 ish same day. But it ended up disappear for a day!!! Finally it was found out that they couldn't handle the "white color" trouser, that's why it haven't been processed at all. Well... I could take it as a reason, but the staff didn't make a single apology at all (when I complained it is so disappointing, she said "yes I know - oh thanks for your empathy)!! Even I needed to chase the front desk (same staff) 4 times to send me back the "unwashed trouser" right before I rushed to check out!!! The hotel has only 5 floors and it only takes a few mins to go up and down!! So all in all, there were three things very disappointing : 1. It is ridiculous the laundry service can't handle the white color clothes, 2. The staffs are so rude and impolite. That's all!!! 3. The toilet wasn't cleaned at all during my next day staying! I guarantee that it was the first time staying in this hotel, so was the last time!! I won't stay in this hotel ever again!!

The staff were absolutely excellent and their service was kind and unobtrusive. We found our rooms very comfortable and clean and enjoyed the facilities as well.

You could look into my entire room, except the bathroom, from another room, felt like in an 'aquarium'. For the price, I missed a place to sit down comfortably, other than the bed.

I liked the staff and I had a very good room that was comfortable and had good facilities. Breakfast was very good as were the staff that looked after us. Cost was reasonable and the hotel well located for shopping.

Unusual to have to go outside main hotel building to get to breakfast room but understand why.

Very noisy room in the morning due to wooden floors in rooms and constant noise of footsteps travelling from other rooms.

Convenience and location

Bed sizing is not international standard they use British standard, so king size is 160cm wide not 180 as per booking.com website states. Beds were a little hard, pillows were lovely.

Staff, rooms, extras such as real coffee & coffee maker in room, great breakfast, spa facilities, convenience to centre.

A very quiet comfortable hotel with an excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included in price. Cafetiere in room. Good TV, iPod dock, free Wi-Fi.

Essentially everything. The decor, the furnishings, the home media equipment, staff were polite, friendly and helpful, comfortable, inviting.

Unfortunately my room overlooked the loading bay, but we didn't care much.

This is a relaxing hotel with a very professional staff that works to make your life easier. The room was comfortable, the breakfast well done, and the location could not be beat.

Excellent hotel, the room we had was fantastic, would not stay anywhere else when returning back to Cambridge.

Great location, lovely room and bathroom, helpful staff who put parking ticket on car at 8am, nearby restaurant was good for cocktails.

Few niggles.. No biscuits with tea, breakfast in bed was cold by the time we got it, spa is separate building from the hotel, parking is off site and expensive

I was a little disappointed with our room , I booked this hotel after looking at the web site and reading reviews, however our room didn't really have the wow factor , it was quite basic and I do not feel worth the £185 we paid .
