City centre location. Ideal if you want to have drinks in pub. Free to come and go, given key for access. Can take food to rooms.
No on site parking. Have to park in near bu Railway station carpark.
Location was within 100 yards of the rail station
Small, loud bar in the pub below and the bed was rock hard
Easy to find, clean quiet and we had a very good nights sleep.
A very small problem the bathroom door did not shut properly and squeaked.
Nice spacious ensuite
Going up steep stairs to get to room

Heating in room only came on a specific times, this was bad as it was really cold in the room so used my hair dryer to heat the room! Bathroom has no lock on it and isn't w proper door so people can see through it a bit. Carpet torn and stained
Very tired overall appearance. No hair dryer as advertised. Tiny ensuite only suitable for anoxerics to be able to access.
beer and the room
Car parking needs to say park at railway station car park . Did not know this and drove round 3 times One way system to find a car park that could only park in for 2 hours max .
All was great :)
Nice clean room with comfortable bed.
Didn't notice any free wifi and parking is a bit far away.
location was spot on, close to train station and shops. Staff very helpful and no rush to get out of rooms in the morning.
Tecno Music that was on that night but really that was just bad luck as other nights the DJ's were more our scene.
The girl who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. There was a small bit of confusion initially as I thought I had prepaid but that was my mistake. She resolved this issue promptly and professionaly. Well impressed.
My only complaint would be about the odour we were met with when we first entered the building, maybe a possible pluming issue. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.
Great location. Entertainment in the pub (so expect some noise).
No parking, but local parking 10mins away
Location Staff Room
Not much parking.
Handy for station and attractions.
Loud music blasting out till early hours.
spacious room friendly accommodating staff comfortable bed clean tidy
we were out on a hen doo so stayed out till approximately 2:30am just in time for the music to have stopped playing in the bar. We were anxious that the music would have kept us up but was pleasantly surprised that the room was quiet and v comfortable.
Check in at the bar where people are squashed trying to get served for drinks. Very loud music from downstairs. You have to cut through the dance floor to access the hotel as there is no separate entrance. Stairs are very creaky and old. Very dusty and damp smelling.
The location is amazing (just 2 mins away from the station and right in the centre) and the room (n.8) was massive.
Excellent hosts, great value for money accommodation right near railway station and some great ales!
Good overnight stay. Close to station.
Very good location and it seemed to be cheap for Shrewsbury
Dim lighting in the room
Nice little room, helpfull and accomodating staff, great location
May be a little noisy for some, but was expected and fine for us
close to shops and bars
music playing till late in the morning
The room temperature was so freezing. There was no heating at all on in the room. The duvets were also very thin. I had to sleep in my coat and socks but still I frozen. Also very thin loo roll so we asked for a spare. We were told that one would be brought up but it wasn't. I'm not too fussy but this was sleeping in a barn, or camping out in winter without a snug sleeping bag.
