Served us well for a one night stay in Chichester. Very large room.
The extractor from the kitchen waking us at 7.15
The live music
Great location in main street. Bar area. Spacious comfortable well-appointed room and bathroom.
Somewhat difficult to locate with one-way street system and carparking system could be costly depending on what time you arrive.
massive bath Comfortable big bed
Wifi signal is bad
The hotel was central to all amenities and extremely well placed for huge choice of restaurants. The room we had was clean, spacious and met all expectations. The pub downstairs was good location for excellent breakfast
On both Saturday and Sunday evening we had to go past a lot of rowdy pub regulars to get into side door to go to room. This may be intimidating for some people especially pushing past security. The sound from bar below does not stop until 12.30am which may well keep some light sleepers awake
Good location and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very nice breakfast too :0) Bit noisy at night due to disco downstairs but OK. Managed a good night's sleep. Would book again
Location; friendly staff; good breakfast
Out-dated décor; poor lighting and inadequate bedside light; no telephone in room; not clear if any staff were there overnight; no tissues or shower cap.
A good location to access the Cathedral, shops, cafes etc
Only access to bedroom by stairs, windows need painting, and downstairs area generally seemed grubby.
Position of Hotel in the Town. Breakfasts rather good.
Crammed bathroom, toilet too close to heated towel rail, toilet roll holder requires a contortionist to use it .No free parking arrangements.
The noise from below, and the worn carpet in the room
First impression on entering building was dingy, grubby and in need of updating. Greeted by very pleasant and helpful staff. Bedroom was a lovely size and super-king bed with good quality linen - a real bonus. Breakfast very good...superb porridge!
A bit noisy during evening. Didn't like opaque glass in bedroom window.
Size of room Quality of breakfast
Room was noisy - at the front and hence could hear people sat outside, and traffic noise Wifi did not work at all from the room, and was patchy in the bar area
Very friendly staff, if a little chaotic at breakfast. Very central position and large comfortable rooms with equally large bathroom. Excellent for young visitors who like pub entertainment in the evening. We were warned and did not mind.
That the window only opened at the top and as it was warm -not enough fresh air!
The Vestry has a stunning location right next to the Cathedral and town centre with a big variety of restaurants nearby. The decor is modern and pleasing without being soulless. Nice selection of framed cartoons in the corridors. We BOTH had chairs in the bedroom!
The Vestry is a popular venue for evening events and one evening was disturbed by loud music. The accommodation is all upstairs
Spacious comfortable room. Good cooked breakfast in the morning.
For some reason the wireless was down during my stay which was quite annoying as I always like to book a place that has wireless.
Price and location
Got a parking ticket when I thought I was fine with a vestry card in the car window made it a very expensive night to stay there make sure you move you car by 10am ....
clean, great position in town, good breakfast
Location Breakfast Staff very friendly and efficient.
Not able to sleep until 12 midnight, as nightclub underneath bedroom. (Not quite what i needed after a long drive and an early morning start)
Location was good and staff were helpful.
Room was dusty and some clothes got covered in fluff and dust when stored on wardrobe shelves!!!!! Room was noisy at night and no comfortable chairs meant it was difficult to relax.
The room was large and had a king size bed.
It was in a difficult to navigate one way system, we couldn't figure out where to park, the tavern on the ground floor was dirty, there was no lift, all rooms were up a huge flight of stairs.
Helpful staff and breakfast can be altered to your preference.
Noise from street and difficult to find parking.
Good location, comfy room, good breakfast
Bit noisy, couldn't connect to wifi.
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice for breakfast and the food was served fresh and hot. Enjoyed our stay here and would stay again and would recommend it to others.
The room was lovely and spacious and although the room on the whole was clean there was a great deal of thick dust in the bathroom around the bottom of the towel rail. In the bedroom there was dust on most of the surfaces and skirting boards. Just could do with a thorough clean.
location large twin room
disco music downstairs till 12.30am
Spacious bedroom Very nice bar staff who were extremely helpful and welcoming Attentive breakfast staff offering plenty of refills if required Great location for visiting the town
Bathroom needed some repairs Eggs benedict not to be recommended eggs undercooked and swimming in hollandaise sauce that did not taste of hollandaise sauce Choice of breakfast ok
