The location was good only a 15 minute walk to town. Large carpark, spacious comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good hotel restaurant & bar. The bathroom extractor fan is very loud and goes on for ages after the light has been switched off! |

The flexibility of not having breakfast loaded into the price as we required a very early start on the morning of departure |

All the staff were friendly and pleasant; the food was good; the hotel is in a quiet area but only a reasonably short walk from the shops (but not short enough for an older couple with any walking difficulties). The bed was a bit hard, and the curtains were short enough to show light below them, which is not quite right. |

The location is very good - easy to access by car, lots of parking, 10 to 15 minute walk to the city centre. Bedrooms are set back from the main road so you don't hear traffic noise. |

I liked the location, being near to the city it was an easy walk to go sightseeing. the staff seamed welcoming. Little things detracted from the overall impression of the hotel. e.g. a loose padlock on damaged doors at the main entrance. the main grip was safety; On one night a fire alarm went off at half 3 in the morning. I duly got up and had to leaf through the welcome pack to find the Fire alarm procedure. Got dressed and tried to leave the hotel, the doors to the hotel were still locked, there was not a single member of staff around to tell us what to do or reassure anyone. We booked out the next morning very tired. overall not worth the amount paid per night, wont be going back! |
