choice of food when staying for 3 nights. might suit others but not for us. no great choice for weekend breakfast

We booked two nights at the Villa Hotel and our stay could not have been any better. The location was beautiful, the food was superb and all the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

I didn't like leaving, and I cant wait to check back in for another lovely weekend!!

lovely hotel with plenty of character, excellent staff....., nothing was too much trouble. The food was of a very high standard and very reasonably priced. Would love to stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

I was very happy with this hotel and its location. Nice getaway from the towns etc. Would have like a little back-ground music whilst eating in the dining room as the hotel was extremely quiet whilst we were there. On the whole good value for money and a very enjoyable stay.

I had a fabulous time at your hotel everything from the location to the wine was brilliant. The staff really do make this hotel, treat them well as they are a huge asset. I would highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family and I can't wait to share my experience on trip adviser as your hotel deserves a 10 out of 10.. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Staff friendly, breakfast great. good atmosphere.

We had a twin room, the beds were small my husbands feet hung over the bottom of the bed!! The quilts were single and very thin, we looked for extra bedding but they do not provide any. We switched the heating on but the noise of it keep clicking kept me awake! Not a very peaceful night when it was minus degrees outside! Should have stayed at Premier Inn they guarantee a good nights sleep or your money back.

Very peaceful hotel! The bed was so comfortable!!!

The fixed shower was too low...I'm 5ft 7 and my partner 6ft and we had to stoop to get the benefit of the shower.

The room was right next to the maque and very noisy. I would not stay in room 12 again

Staff were helpfull and friendly

Very comfortable friendly hotel with lots of features. Excellent choice of beers at the bar, with roaring log fires, great for cold winter nights. Set in lovely countryside and very peaceful. If you stay; make a point of looking in the cabinet in the foyer, the pre-loved ducks are very reasonably priced ..... it's a novel idea

After a journey of towing the in-laws caravan to Southport it was so relaxing to arrive at The Villa Country House and just be able to enjoy the tranquillity and calm> It was a very peaceful and pleasant stay

It was excellent for the purpose we required. Breakfast set you up for the day and was good to have nice hot toast. Meal on the night although extra was well prepared and presented. Would go again.

Beakfast was early an extra half hour to make it 9.30 last order would have been better.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much. I was attending the Blackpool Dog Show and the location was excellent. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.The lady at breakfast made me a bacon sandwich to take away because I did not have time to eat my breakfast, so thankyou very much.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable would recommend.

Good location and quiet. Staff were very friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs which is a good sign.

We were eating fairly late in the restaurant and we could smell cleaning fluid wafting in from somewhere. The towels, although clean, had seen better days - small point but one I remember.
