Reasonable price Very Clean Well furbished room
Great setting, good staff, awesome breakfast. Rooms spacious and very comfortable.
Arrived on New Years day and hadn't booked a meal, but friendly staff soon found us a table and we enjoyed a very delicious 2 course lunch. The restaurant continued to be a delight from breakfast to evening, every meal was superbly served up and delicious!we didn't need to book a table as we ate our evening meal around 5-6pm.Our room was a chalet type in a block of 11 at the rear of the property and got parked outside without any problems. Our room was very comfortable warm and clean and quiet.Ideal base to tour North Yorkshire and would defo return
Be aware tho this is a resturant and not a local bar as there is no lounge area to sit and enjoy a pint and read paper before a meal.Although staff did make a table available for us. We can't fault the staff in their eagerness to make our stay enjoyable.
Staff 1000% helpful - again
Not enough time to stay longer
the cottage was fab
Food, service, location, room. quietness of room.
Shower door. Smell generator.
The evening meal was good although the portions small. Quiet room and location.
The room was cold even with heating on and no extra duvet/blanket was in the room. The curtain pole behind the door fell down when I tried to close the curtain.
The shower room/toilet floor looked as if it had not been cleaned properly for some time with many different hairs around it!
I liked the chalet type room with parking just outside. The room was clean and with everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. At breakfast we could make our own toast when ready so it was hot and not brought in with the bacon.
We enjoyed everything about the Village Inn. It is comfortable and friendly. The breakfast was cooked fresh and very filling
excellent food in the bar, comfy bed and room plus very efficient Wi-Fi
Hotel staff, rooms, location and the food all excellent, would highly recommend .

The rooms good. the breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. Mrs Scott. France.
Four people. The staff in the Restaurant could be better trained. Service at the table very poor. you serve from the right take from the left, not lean all over people. Dinner staff.
Bathroom needed an extra wipe down.
Room was good plenty of room for the children food very good. Staff very helpful and friendly
