Well located, pleasant staff Room far too hot, air con did not adjust below 19 deg. Luuxury bathroom had no shaver point! No decent lighting to apply make-up. Asked directions for 24 hr parking, none actually available (did not fancy paying £15 for valet parking) but ncp which the hotel has directed us to, attendant kindly let us leave it there overnight - which meant we had no access to it from 7.30pm to 10 am. Service in the restaurant, slightly too quick,(cutlery barely touched the plate before it was cleared) and odd - coffee served before desserts, for example

The staff were very polite friendly and helpful through out the hotel. The hotel was very clean. Lacked female touch to the rooms, no dressing table, linted mirrors, not good for getting ready. The lighting was not practical, good for chilling but too dark for applying makeup, hair etc. No air vents in bathroom. This seemed to be the case throughout the building the lkighting was very low in the corriders, struggled to find room numbers. Set menu for the evening meal lacked choice very limited unless willing to pay extra. The bar area seating was set out as group seating, not ideal for a romantic break as when the bar was busy we were sat with another 8 people.

the rooms where very nice and the staff very helpfull, the location was great The free wi-fi signal was very poor in the room and we where told to go into the corridor to get a connection , also the storage space for clothes was very poor as it had little hanging space and the only drawers where in the bedside tables

Friendly staff, good food, nice bar, beds comfortable. Hotel great, parking in Southport a nightmare, offered valet parking for £15:00, I refused, cost me £25 for parking fine ( should have taken the valet offer ) haha.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Staff couldn't do enough, great little restaurant too. Champagne in the room should have been rose but a very minor issue.

The location was ideal. Hotel is contemporary and modern. Loved the pictures and bar area. Room was to a very good standard, comfortable. Bed and great bathroom. Staff were all very professional. Valet parking an added bonus. Couldn`t get the tv to work despite following the instructions, neither could our friends who were next door.May be we are of a certain age.Pls make it simpler. Only 4 little cartons of milk to share between 2 , so one cupper each on arrival then run out. A biscuit with the drink is usual at this level of hotel. Breakfast at £10 per head is great value and the continental breakfast was spot on. However the cooked offering was well below standard. The sausages appeared in ediible and were cold. Bacon looked to have been boiled rather than grilled and again appeared un cooked. I did not expect hp Beans, neither did I expect beans on steroids, they were not and kind of beans I have ever seen before, I could not eat them.

The staff from the moment we arrived were excellent. We both felt very relaxed and welcome..We were lucky enough to eat in the main restaurant and the food was perfection and yet again the staff were first class. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for Valentines Day!We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

Nice hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Good bar - didn't eat there so can't comment on food. Would advise guests to use the hotel car parking service. Costs £15 but at least 2 guests checking out before us had been issued with a parking fine - and it was New Years Day!! Only gripe was lighting in room - or lack of it - even in the bathroom! Even the mirrors were tinted. Nightmare trying to get ready for ny eve party. Sadly, for this reason I would not use the hotel again and would not recommend to friends.

Having previously had lunch at The Vincent I had high expectations for the rest of the hotel. I wasn't dissappointed. The hotel decor was chic and luxurious and the room was very well designed. We stayed in a corner studio room which was a very good size with a huge and exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom was large, well equipped with the best shower I have ever experienced in a hotel! I also loved the fact that there was a coffee machine in the room. Finally having such a good bar & restaurant in the hotel meant that we didn't need to leave the hotel which suited us for our quick overnight stay, although the central location would have made it easy to try out other locations had we been staying longer. It would have been nice to have some complimentary biscuits to go with the coffee. Also it's unfortunate that there isn't free parking available.

The room was fab, everything was clean and the decor was gorgeous. Felt like I was in new york, it was deifinately the best hotel ive ever stayed in and i'd definately go back. Just wish i'd had more time to explore the hotel bar and restarant a bit more. We had a bad nights sleep due to 2 beds being pushed together.

All staff friendly & courteous. Breakfast was very good. Big bed. Expect a bath in this type of hotel. Dim lighting - difficult to read. AC was difficult to understand how to adjust. Parking (if valet service not used) Alternative directions to a long term, secure car park would have been useful.

Staff were very friendly on check in and the rooms were well decorated and clean. Location is excellent. The only disappointment was that the extra large double bed that was stated in the room description was actually two singles pushed together. They were attached by a bar so did not move but unfortunately one was slightly higher than the other which detracted from the comfort.
