I did not like this hotel at all. I noticed some bad reviews at booking.com, but still went ahead and made my reservation there. Big mistake! When I am in New York, I always stay at Waldorf. I thought there two hotels are somehow connected. Apparently there is nothing in common between this place and New York Waldorf Astoria. I do not write these reviews very often, and as a seasoned traveller I am very tolerant, however I made an exception this time to tell everyone to stay away from Waldorf Hilton in London and trust the reviews. The hotel is absolutely not good value for money, the interior design is goofy and hospital-like, it has no lobby area, elevators are ugly. My "Deluxe" room was extremely small, breakfast was poor, bathroom was tiny, bed uncomfortable. The room did not have a closet, so I was unable to hang my suits propery. There was some strange metal device that looked like those mannequins on store windows (complete with adjustable breasts!), where I was able to fit one suit. This is not a good hotel for business and do not even think about a romantic stay (your date will think you are trying to save money on her!). If you are looking for a 5-star experience, this is not a hotel to go, you can do a lot better in London.

We went there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and the hotel was wonderful about giving us a special time, including a little surprise cake in the room on the day of his birthday and a bottle of wine.

The room was acceptable but the mattress was almost destroyed and I had to change room for this reason. Refurbishment under process with subsequent noise, bad appearance of the hotel, and extremely poor common areas is not value for money.

The hotel is spectacular as you walk through the doors, once inside the staff are very attentive! The breakfast was the highlight of our trip! Check in was at 3pm at 6pm we still had no room! We got upgraded for a second time to a room that was actually available! We were in a showcase suite at what would of cost £800 a night and I must say I'm glad we didn't see our chosen room as the "suite" was very average and most things were missing! I would recommend this hotel if you get a bargain but not at full price! Oh and if you don't pay when you book via booking.com they charge you hotel rates not the rate quoted online!

Location was superb but room not worth the money They tried to put us in traditional queen room as opposed to the advertised designer queen room. Watch put for that one! Also the mini bat was a joke, all activated and it charges if u accidentally glance over it! I don't think I would stay again as other hotels offer same for half the price!

Super location near " Theatre land", very attentive staff, lovely rooms and excellent breakfast. The bathroom had a large 3 angle mirror, perfect for makeup and doing your hair. The only problem was that the hairdryer was fixed in a cupboard 25 feet away. Please have a chat to maintainence to move it a little close or place a large well lit mirror in the cupboard with it.

Not a lot! Overpriced for the size of the room , poor view, room layout TV not facing the bed but on a side wall which was totally impractical. Double bed pushed up to the wall on one side. Will not stay here again

The location was fabulous for all the theatres and covent garden. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. we would definitely stay at the Waldorf again. The bed was a typical double and we often find that most hotels offer king size beds.

I did not like this hotel at all. The initially booked room was not as described it was very small with all the facilities but minimal size. Definitely not value for money. In addition, the hotel was under refurbishment therefore the main entrance was closed, the common areas were very poor and low level. For sure nothing to remind of a high standards hotel. I have to point though the helpful and very supporting reception desk staff which understood our problem with the initial room and helped change room the next day though .

We had a lovely room, a great stay and got a bargain on booking.com. The hotel gave us a slight upgrade on arrival and the room was lovely. Its was my wifes birthday and i mentioned this before we arrived. The hotel had left us a dessert with happy birthday written on the plate along with a complementry fruit bowl. Small things but makes for a good stay. We left relaxed and happy.
