the staff were exceptional really attentive, the bed was very comfortable and it did have the wow factor the room was not really any better than a good 3* so not really value for money, and there was no bath for my partner. I felt that was a bit shabby for a 5* hotel |

Unfortunatley the room was shabby and tired. The staff were unable to be attentive to the guests as they appeared to be over stretched. The cooked breakfast had been hanging around and was dry and generally unpleasant, non of the above comments should made on a hotel stating 5 stars. Overall experience. Awful... |

It was very central to all london attractions, the room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the dining staff were very helpful. A confusion over our booking and lack of communication between reception staff. The hotel looked a bit tired in places could do with a lick of paint etc.No free internet anyware in the hotel which really is a must these days. |

The hotel was what we expected, comfortable, clean, in a word, excellent. The staff were all utterly friendly and polite, and the location perfect for the nearby theatres and Covent Garden. |

Location of the Hotel Air Con not working - Room to warm (windows didn't open at all) - TV not working - Charged for items we did not have out of mini bar - Swimming Pool crap, too much chlorine, paint peeling off walls had to wear swimming hats - Room too small for price charging. Hotel dated. |

We had a lovely room. It was clean, tastefully decorated, quiet and well appointed. The staff are lovely. Breakfast was amazing with kind, attentive staff. The background music in the restaurant and the whole atmosphere was quiet beautiful. We only got to stay there one night :-( |

The comfort of the room. The decor in the hotel. Politeness and Efficiency of Staff. The LA Fitness facilities were appalling. The sauna and steam room were cold, the showers in the changing rooms were cold. The changing rooms were very tired and in desparate need of refurbishment. |

Use of the leisure facilities Initial room - we were changed room but in the new room the iron did not work, cutains were missing, tap fell off in our hand whilst taking a shower, the sound on the TV did not work. Husband ordered his breakfast and half of it was missing, the table at breakfast was missing cups, teaspoons, cutlery, jams, butter etc. they charged us extras on check out that we did not use. |

the staff made us feel very welcome and the level of service was very high. considering this hotel is classed as 5 star the room layout and quality is pretty poor. in a 5 star hotel you expext a sense of luxury and unfortunately the hotel building did not deliver this, however the staff were certainly 5 star quality. |

The staff were excellent, very polite and helpful, excellent location for covent garden and neighbouring areas. Despite having been upgraded the room was very small. I asked for a more modern style room as that is more to our taste, but i found it to be a bit soulless and cheap looking. The hotel corridors looked tired and grubby, even though i think we were in the part that has fairly recently been refurbished. The breakfast was not great, not alot of choice, and the cooked options not very hot. |

The hotel is situated in a great place for covent garden. there are a good selection of places to eat. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable. The gym area is well equiped but the swimming pool needs to be updated. |

The staff especially the concierge staff was excellent. Very helpful with a wonderful attitude. Location was great. The room size was very small, The amenities were not always consistent, i.e. water left in room, quality of bathroom facilities, cleaning of the room.. I stayed two weekends in a row with a 5 day break in the middle and had two rooms both weekends.. |

Service was good and staff friendly. Room was smaller than expected and not much to differentiate this hotel from lower priced hotels. I would have had the same experience at a less expensive hotel. |

Asked for a quiet room and was put next to housekeeping who were in and out with slamming doors nearly all day. No bath. A buffet style breakfast seems a little tacky for a grand hotel |
