my room was very nice, with sea view! Very friendly people!
The warm welcome, comfortable bed
Was made very welcome at Waldorf and Tom was hoy to accommodate our family in a spacious family room. A special effort was made at breakfast and advice on present day to day events and restaurants within the area .
Bar area very quiet but if u want a really chilled holiday it's suitable. Loved the lounge area during the day when the sun shone through we relaxed listening to chill out tunes whilst reading the various magazines and books displayed.
tom and ste welcomed us at door helped with luggage lovely double room facing sea linen and towels spotless tea and coffee available fruit and biscuits in room and topped up next day the lounge facing promenade was cosy and relaxing location excellent bus and trams outside great for pensioners like us we would stay here again xx
there was nothing I did not like
Staff friendly, room clean & comfy with adequate storage. Tea, coffee & biscuits daily with plenty of milk - not the usual enough for 1 cup each. Even 3 towels each provided. Tram station over the road with Pleasure Beach 1 stop away. Area very quiet as was the hotel - although there was over 90 guests booked in at the time we stayed - never heard them !! Parking straight outside the door of the hotel.
the hotel was very nice and peaceful and i would recommend it for a stay in blackpool
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable ideal location away from all the hustle
brilliant staff and fabulous breakfast
I had a feeling we were going to enjoy ourselves as soon as we walked i The Waldorf. Tom met us at the door and immediately felt at home. We then met Steve who was also really pleasant. We loved the room with a separate bedroom with TV and DVD for our grandchildren. The sea view was lovely. The breakfast was a feast cereals, yoghurts, fruit etc. The cooked breakfast was excellent. There was also a continental breakfast with a chocolate cake as big as our granddaughters face. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We will definitely return. Thanks to Tom, Steve and their brilliant staff. Sorry about the Rice Krispies !
hotel was fab staff were amazing very friendly funny and went out there way to accomadate us with anything we needed staff were also amazing with kids which I find important defenetly stay again highly recommend.
Staff were polite. Was happy to help to your needs
We had no working television in our room. Also we didn't have a bath, just a shower so was difficult to bathe my 2 year old. When I placed my booking I asked for a sea view room with a double bed and 2 single beds. We had a double and a bunk bed. The window in our room was mouldy and dirty. Our room was entered whilst we was out but no fresh bedding or towels were left. Hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Overall a pleasant stay but wouldn't stay again.
Friendly and helpful staff.
The showers (cold) and not much space for family to move around in room.
The staff were great especially with our 5 year old granddaughter. They went out of there way to help with places to visit etc.
The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice the staff very friendly and helpful Easy access with tram
mattress a bit lumpy
location to the pleasure beach great breakfast friendly staff
The staff, you couldn't ask for better staff very helpful and friendly really made our stay easy with two young grand-children. So much so that we would go back again with them
The room was to small for a family room and could do with being bigger with a seating area for little ones to sit and play The bathroom very small and not big enough to bath small children in. On saying this would use again for the staff are very family friendly and you can just manage for a short stay.
I loved everything about the waldorf. The rooms the staff were fantastic. We are definately staying there again. I would recommend it to everybody. In fact i already have !!!!! Thank you steve and tom for helping our holiday be just perfect xx
Very friendly staff.. very welcoming and could not do enough to help.. not the most luxurious of hotels but it does what is required.. great location..
The only slight negative is the hotel feels very dated and could do with a lick of paint.. however they are in the middle of redecorating..
Staff were friendly and helpful top mark for the staff who i think are the owners the room was clean and smelt lovely id definitely recommend :)
Just that the heating was on at night and it got really really hot in the room even with window open but other than that its perfect place to stay
The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Helped with things to do, places to eat etc even printing out maps for us. The breakfast was great and plentiful with various options for the children.
Staff where nice and friendly chatty and welcoming will be staying at this hotel again when me and my partner are back down at Blackpool. Hotel was clean and location was great right next to the pleasure beach. Room was clean and tidy. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel or staff they where amazing people. Hopefully be back next year! Nicole and Josh
Staff helpful and friendly Single sea view room good. Breakfast excellent. Wi-Fi in bedroom. Lift was a must. Visiting family in Blackpool, tried other hotels, this one, I will return to.
Only fault I could find, TV in room too high on wall.
This is a building in need of a little updating. This is made up for in the welcome, service and breakfast. Definitely a longer stay to feel the benefit of the owners hard work. Very children friendly and make the most of a lovely site.We were part of a group of 14 and we all were looked after in our individual ways/ needs.
Would have liked a more updated/spacious bathroom. But please see previous comment about the building/service
The atmosphere at the Waldorf was one to which you would like to find everywhere.
