Had to give this lovely place a review. Arrived and was greeted by friendly staff. They couldn't of been friendlier or more welcoming. The first room we orginally booked was very little and snug so we upgraded for an £15 per night into the deluxe room and that room was very big, spacious and comfy. Hotel was very clean and warm . Only downside to it was that didn't serve food and walls were a bit thin as could hear allot from other rooms or passing, over all we enjoyed our stay and will def be going back next year.
I loved the hospitality of the staff particularly the idea of goody bags at halloween especially for the younger children.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, there wasn't much of a view from where we were staying.
Made yo feel part of the family, very welcoming. Great for advice on travel, eating and where to go. Thank you had a great time.
Owners couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. My mother was with us who had mobility problems and the owners arranged for a mobility scooter. They were both incredibly helpful.Thank you!
Lovely, helpful, friendly staff. We left something behind which they offered to post without hesitation. Very much appreciated.
Not a question of didn't like more a suggestion that decor is a bit tired and could do with freshening up.
The welcome we got on our arrival was great & from then until we had to reluctantly leave we couldn't have had better service. The food was great could have whatever you wanted & more. Can,t wait to see Steve, Tom, Nancy & staff again next year.
No complaints with our visit.
great welcome staff couldn't do enough for us , fantastic breakfast would 100% return in fact cant wait to return
if im being honest there is nothing to dislike
I liked the friendliness of the staff very helpful room was very clean overall happy.
the location was a bit out the way of the tower and town centre had to use the tram to get there and back to the hotel .
Very helpful and courteous staff, close to transport links into main part of blackpool, promptness of service.
Some fixtures, fittings and decor showing their age, but resonably clean and this is a budget venue.
Location & friendliness of staff
Very small family room & the firmest mattresses of any hotel stopped in that were so firm that myself & my wife were suffering each day after
the area was a little run down, next to a row of hotels that had been on fire and left boarded up also, hotels in the same block had closed down, a result of the recession I expect.
Staff were fantastic could not do enough to help. Even though the on suit bathroom was run down and in need of serious upgrading it was immaculately clean as was our room and the rest of the hotel. Beds were very comfy and bedding and towels were fresh and clean.
Most of the hotels around this hotel were boarded up and it made the area appear to be rather run down.
The bed was the best part of the hotel stay, good quality bad
The hotel needs updating abit, the shower needs to be made so that you can have a shower, it was either cold or burning hot, after having breakfast the 1st morning didn't repeat the 2nd went to weatherspoons better value much more enjoyable.
1. Friendliness of staff, especially with children 2.Very clean and warm facilities 3. Fantastic breakfasts 4. Felt safe and comfortable at all times
1. Parking was limited due to day trippers taking advantage of spaces, after all it was the illuminations.
The staff were very polite and welcoming
The Hotel is very dated the room we were in was very small the décor and general cleanliness was not what we were expecting for the price we paid it was not cheap, perhaps we were unlucky and got a old room the blinds in the shower room were very dirty and broken. the bedroom carpet dirty and generally the walls and ceiling had holes in them, the bed side table attached to the bedstead broken.
The welcome & friendliness of the staff, in particular Steve, Tom, Stephen & the lovely lady chef. The hotel is old & tired but spotlessy clean,we felt cared for, happy & my 88 year old mother [wheelchair user] was treated like the Queen.
It was a little difficult with the wheelchair, but with cheerfully given help from the staff, it was made easier.
Staff surprised me with their helpfulness and warmth South shore location near to everything we wanted to see and do.
First impressions are unimpressive Shower in one room unreliable
Everything and the staff were so friendly nothing was to much trouble Had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to visiting again
Food Great, Location Ideal, Hotel Clean and comfortable
Staff friendly and a clean hotel.
The hotels at either side were closed down and one was a derelict building.
Breakfast not included in the price!
Was told had a see view & didn't. Room needed updating
Location, parking, acessability, breakfast, bar, friendlyness
Water pressure of shower not good
