I loved the guest house itself. It is a well maintained Edwardian building with all it's original features intact and it is designed in the best taste. My room was splendid. I wish I stayed at this hotel longer. The breakfast was delicious and I was treated like royality. There was nothing to dislike

The hosts Richard and Rob were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.We loved the purple room where we stayed and we loved the extra touches like the homemade muffins and the produce they cooked being sourced from local farms! Nothing

Rooms were very well presented and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was superb and the hosts made us feel very welcome As others have mentioned don't be put off by the first impression of the street in which the guest house is situated. Some of the houses are run down or currently subject of refurbishment. The good news is that this does not affect the great accommodation.

Very welcoming with a cup of tea and slice of delicious home-made cake when we arrived and some great information about where to go for dinner. Richard was very helpful and his breakfast fantastic. The home made bread for toast was delicious. The room was comfortable and although we had a shared bathroom this was no problem. The street is a bit run down but once you are inside the guesthouse it is beautiful.

First of all, I have known Margate for over 30 years as I attended the school, so despite previous comments posted, I reassure you that the neighbourhoods where the Warwick Guesthouse is located at, is really NOT a run-down areas. The neighbourhoods are typical residential areas - "with some bonuses" where these lucky owners lives - so CLOSE to the seaside! I really fancy to live by the seaside - but am priced out :(. The only "run-down" area is Northdown Road (local shopping) in Cliftonville - but excellent bus services including the LOOP route that would take you to neighbouring seaside towns - Broadstairs, Ramsgate as well as Westwood shopping complex. About my stay at the Warwick Guesthouse, being pure British myself, I feel this like "being at home" rather than a hotel. Excellent breakfast - very well cooked sauteed mushrooms etc! Very fantastic owners that are very willing to make you feel so very welcome!

The hosts made us feel at home. The breakfast was each morning was amazing. We will recommend to friends. One minor thing. Some other houses in the street are a bit scruffy and run down and our first impression was that we had made a mistake booking. As soon as we went inside the Warwick our fears were dismissed. Car parking could be a problem but we were lucky as we found a spot.

The home made cooking really made the family / personally run business exactly that. Will deffinatley being staying there again. Thank you Richard and Rob for a really pleasant stay. Next time we will not be in so much of a hurry to leave, only we had a business appointment and had to be there by 9.30am, so we was a bit pushed for time. Fantastic muffins, bread and shortbread. Hope you had a great holiday in Wales. Nothing to not like 5*'s all round. Thank you so so much.

A warm welcome awaited at the Warwick Guesthouse. Nothing was too much trouble for Richard during my stay. The breakfast was excellent in the cosy dining room. The homemade bread and muffins were a nice touch. The bedroom was lovely - a real home from home. The towels were fluffy and the bed linen was clean and crisp. Little things would make this the perfect place to stay. For example fix the toilet seat in the en suite bathroom, which was a bit wobbly, and refresh the newspapers and mags in the dining room.
