No surprises but a few small things would have made it much better- eg a plug for the kettle that reaches the socket, rearranging the room so that the sofa is not underneath the TV
No curtain on a window
Lovely, comfortable room, good bathrooms (despite being outside of room), staff very friendly.
All the things above, plus the nice bar area and good choices of evening meal.
Parking was a bit difficult but manageable.
Location & good food
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean.
Room was very small and too hot.
We were late for dinner and they reopened the kitchen for us.We needed to print out a document fat the last minute and the incredibly obliging staff stayed at work late to get it done for us. Could not have asked for better care.
It was my first trip to UK , and i liked it a lot , thanks to waterman's personal , i enjoyed my living there , would like to visit it again :)

Breakfast Cleanliness Food & Drink Menu Advice on nearby parrking
Outside doesnt look as good as the inside!
The staff were so friendly. The food really was great. The bed was comfortable and the city centre was close by for a whirlwind walk round the sights.
There was only on-road parking which concerned me but there was absolutely no trouble.
Room clean and very comfortable. Breakfast great and dinner good vegetarian and ale tops. Free parking close.
Need more hooks/benches in the en-suite bathroom of the room I had.
Centrally located staff very friendly. Comfortable basic accommodation value for money. Would stay again.
Location, by Jesus Green and river walks. Room was individual and clean and comfortable. Fantastic cooked to order food.
Wonderful and hospitable staff, immaculately clean room, nice breakfast, pleasant location. Barátságos és figyelmes személyzet, tökéletesen tiszta szoba, finom reggeli, jó elhelyezkedés
it's a pub
This hotel had bed bugs on September 2014. I got big red bites all over my skin after the second night, and I found bed bugs attached to the curtains. This was horrible...
Spent only one night there with my partner, but we had a very good time, happy with the facilities, clininess, location
This venue is located on the corner of two busy roads, and our room was facing the junction, however since it was October, the windows were shut which helped cutting down noise to a minimum. In summer it might be a problem though.
Location, staff were friendly, pub dinner excellent!
Hard to find parking during the day. Breakfast included should state that it is continental only. Made the price seem expensive in hindsight. Room was small.
Nice welcome by the owner pleasant pub/ gastropub atmosphere good food options great location near Midsummer Common where we ran a 10K the next morning
Pervasive smell in room 5- -- coming from the toilet After I made a dates error on Booking.com - the Waterman were not prepared to cancel the booking ... only to switch dates which was reasonable I suppose but I had to pay an extra £20 cos Booking.com had upped the price. So I've still ranked it as good vfm bsed on what I would have paid if I'd booked correctly first time round.
Wonderful value for the price. Close enough to the city center that we could walk. Wonderful and thoughtful staff. We'd stay here again.
Bathroom was a bit musty, but otherwise a great experience.
The room was very nice, bed was comfy and all was clean. The location is pretty good for cambridge, there is a bunch of shops nearby and the centre of town is not that far away
Not a lot, the breakfast guy did seem to have items on a tab booked to rooms where the people in the rooms didn't start the tab but thats not really a negative
A good price with helpful staff. Excellent eggs benedict. Lovely walk into the city centre through a park or by the river.
The Pub is on a corner so there was inevitably traffic noise. Room was small.
