very good family hotel, with a very good view from some rooms.
A nice welcome and a comfortable bed.
Came down for breakfast at 9.26 am and the waitress checked her watch twice to see if we were too late for it.. not nice!
Location, price and service, with car parking directly outside.
Our room faced the road and there was no double glazing so it was noisy.
The hotel and rooms were comfortable and clean .
The temperature in the room was far to high and their was a bad odour from outside.
The staff were very good especially Karelia on reception who made us feel at home as soon as we walked in and was very helpful the whole time we were there and Kieran in the bar was very friendly and helpful we will definitely be back
Very friendly staff. Would stay again.
creaking floor boards from the room above. stayed in November i personally found the breakfast area very cold.
I liked this traditional hotel, it had lovely views over the water. It was central. The bed was comfy and the room warm.
It was a tad run down the shower ran cold and the tiles needed replacing. Breakfast was dry.
Very convenient to the venue where we were attending a concert.
The hotel was very central for my purpose.
There were no shelves or drawers in the room, so I had to leave some of my items in my suitcase.
Shower could have a better shower going outside in the rain
The view over the Hamills is the best hidden secret of Paisley. Watching salmon leap the weirs was amazing.
The poor soundproofing from the windows makes it difficult to get a good nights sleep when the White Cart is in full flow.
Desk staff very friendly. Convenient for station. View of the river was very pleasant.
Nothing much to really dislike. Menu could do with having healthier and lighter options.
Location and staff
Lovely little room at the rear of the hotel on second floor. Free Wi-Fi access.
helpful staff ,,restaurant facilities good ,enjoyed my meal ,,good value . on river ,,and very handy for Glasgow Airport ,,Paisley Abbey across the road too.
says free parking but only if you park against the front of hotel otherwise its pay and display.
Lovely clean crisp comfortable bed. Clean room. Sound of river crashing. Nice friendly staff
Needs a total refurb urgently. Horribly shabby and dated. Two loud TVsin in bar and stark lighting made it very unwelcoming so we had to take our drink to our grotty but clean room.
The room was red hot! radiators could not be turned down or off.I was in room 101 to be avoided
Everything, could not sleep left one night early, will not be returning and will not ever be recommending to anyone else. Horrid experience
Location is good for airport travellers and relatively easy to find.
Room was stuffy and not particularly clean (stain on walls and desk chair). There were huge spiders in the window as well as a spider in the lampshade. The bed was uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in the mattress. I hate to give a bad review but overall we felt uncomfortable and that the room was not a good value for money.
Comfortable place with mostly helpful staff
Poor electrical options for use of the desk with a laptop. Without the extension lead supplied from the kitchen, I could not have used the desk.
We have stayed at the Watermill many times since 1992. It is convenient to airport, city and shops with a great outlook towards the old Coates cotton factory. It is usually clean and tidy and quite comfortable and the staff look after you.
We took a friend to dinner in the restaurant and was most disappointed with the food which was 2nd rate which explained why there was only 5 people in the restaurant on a Saturday night and the bar almost empty. In the past we would have needed to book it was so popular. Being woken up and evacuated at 3.30 am for a fire alarm also didnt help our stay.
location staff food
bathroom lack of hot water am
Staff very helpful, public rooms good. Bedroom very small and chair was very uncomfortable, needs to be re-upholstered. Lovely view of the millrace from the dining room. Food was pretty good on the whole with large portions.
waiting forever for the water to heat up for a shower, then it was only lukewarm. Toilet took forever to flush. Facing on the bathtub had a long crack and a hole in it.
Staff pleasant and helpfull slept well in center of town good access to selection of entertainment and variety of restaurants within walking distance
Room telephones did not work generally quite dated heating lacked control shower poor pressure rooms and corridors tend to be clustrafobic cracked floor tiles in bathroom
everything would stay in the future but would need a quiet mroom.
noise from inconsiderate people in the next room tv on until 12.00 midnight.
