Suited us for location. Good insulated room. There was a lot of noise when we arrived Saturday night was expecting sleepless night but once the door was shut couldn't hear much at all. Very clean and nicely decorated. Good tea and coffee facilities. Staff friendly who rung us when we forgot an item.
Poor quality breakfast.
The canalside location I can imagine would be lovely in the summer. The staff in the pub were really friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good.
As a lone female traveller, I felt a little uncomfortable in an annex around the side of the pub and with no additional locking mechanism on the inside. The room was cold, there was no bath mat, no toiletries and no hairdryer, all of which are standard these days. When I checked out at 9am, the pub was all locked up and there was no letterbox anywhere so I had to leave the key on the windowsill outside the room. For £95 I expected more.
We were there for a wedding which was being held at the venue. Staff were excellent throughout the day and evening. Had an absolutely brilliant day. Many thanks Natalie, Chris and all the staff
such a good time that the time flew to fast.
Good budget accommodation. Ask for a room with a canal view.
The breakfast is poor, but at the price it fills a hole
We love this hotel it's clean cosy and very friendly. It's 7 miles from the London and it's a perfect place to chill out after a busy shopping day.
There is nothing not to like we will be returning there
Excellent food. A well thought out menu and very helpful and friendly staff.
Needs saftey lighting by the car park and night. I tripped over an unlit kerb.
Location Fridge with plenty of milk
Were not given a key Decoration and accessories minimal Not welcoming Over priced for what is on offer Breakfast was a stale roll with cheese plus a cereal Small cups but no glasses
We booked our stay at The WatersEdge as our son was 18 and wanted to see his aunty's to celebrate, all the staff were extremely helpful and nice. We had a brilliant meal for 29 of us and a great disco afterwards (free for party's over 20!). A big thankyou to you all you really made it a special evening.
Room was very clean and tidy.Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.
The included brekfast could have been a little better.
It was a perfect location for QVardis where we attended a wedding that day. Staff were great and it was a difference experience staying right alongside the canal. I would stay again as it was a refreshing change from a standard traditional hotel format
Needs an extractor fan in the bathroom area - otherwise all was good
Room had areas of décor that required more attention to detail (Electrical box on show above wardrobe) and only some of the LED lights behind the bed working. Water was cold for the shower
good location for a summer drink or stay - not a winter business overnight stay Helpful friendly staff Good camembert
No heating No hairdryer No iron available in room No option to add things to the room Wi Fi wouldn't work
Local to heathrow, not over priced, friendly people, just what we needed.
Scenery. Very friendly staff
Could have included a hot breakfast
Location. Helpful barman who booked taxi for us and have us good local information
Terrible excuse for a breakfast...rolled up cheese and wet fatty cheap ham in a lunch box in the fridge, two stale bread rolls and portion of weetabix all in the room. Bed OK but not very good mattress .
Room felt like 2 rooms- plenty of space and privacy with kids- tvs in each part. Friendly and helpful staff-lovely location Breakfast fine for us- took rolls to LEGOLAND where we were going on day trip Good value for 4 people
Just that pillows could be firmer and proper blackout blind on skylight as got light early
Advertised as a 4 star but we wouldn't give it a four stars. There was no way we could have stopped there with our 2 small children as we didn't feel safe leaving them sleeping next to a beer garden so we left. Breakfast was a bread roll and some ham left in a tuperware tub in the fridge in the room! Wouldn't recommend.
The quiet room
Thé breakfast in the room
The bathroom was brand new and very clean. Good water flow from the showers. Location was pleasant being right on the canal.
The bedsheets had stains on them and the mattress has seen better days. The food in the frig was served on metal plates that were not very clean. There was no bottled water in the room for use. The tap water was suspect and I got sick from it.
Lovely staff room was very nice and clean parking was available on site food was good at the resturant
The bathroom no iron in room
Evening meal excellent and good value. Room was very comfy and shower good.
Breakfast awful. Bread rolls were left in the room overnight and were really chewy next morning. Cereal choice obscure.
Comfy bed Canal side location Dog walking area through marina next door Helpful staff
Couldnt unplug sink as no lever for the purpose Breakfast should contain more or put a toaster in room with bread or offer full english. For price breakfast should be better.
Rooms were nicely decorated with a modern feel. Situated on the canal. food in the resturant was of a high standard very nice beers.
The continental breakfast was basic and in the fridge no choice of cereal and bread with slide of ham and cheese is not my idea of a continental greakfast, this was disappointing in comparison to the food offered in the resturant.
At the party venue
Mouldy smell, poor breakfast left in room for morning Poor value for money
Restaurant/Bar was excellent. Food top notch.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money for a one night stopover on route.
Location off beaten track and external appearance not very attractive. But next to canal and could be pleasant on a nice day.
