Great value for money. Clean, friendly and interesting.
Friendly service, small but lovely room, fridge with breakfast for morning. Nice sitting in front of canal. Close to Heathrow - we used it for an overnight stay before a pick up.
Wifi did go off in morning but it had been good day before (prob just needed restart)
A pleasant oasis next to the grand union canal in an otherwise uninspiring suburban setting. Lovely lakes to walk around just up the road. Staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was provided, bread rolls, ham, cheese and cereal.
Nice room, maybe a bit small, but great facilities and perfectly good value
Location. Staff. Food. PRICES!. Dog Friendly. ( a big bonus. ) Nice Room.
Breakfast ( Really! ). Outdoor Water feature running all night!. Not good if you had a weak bladder. Bad Pillows. Need to put easy chairs in rooms. also need handle on inside of room door, difficult opening door to get out.
room was lovely nice size shower come and go when you please, breakfast was nice, english or continental very good
small fridge on floor could be raised higher
The rooms were clean and fresh. I liked the idea of a fridge in the room. Bathroom was spotless. Very enjoyable stay. Will go back!!!
Staff excellent, idea of breakfast in bed, food in restaurant very high standard.
Lots of rubbish blowing around and in doorway, making overall impression grubby, which it wasn't. Milk for breakfast was not drink able, but planned to have breakfast in Bed!
This is a very average hotel which in fairness I would not complain about. It does what it says on the tin really.
Breakfast was in the room when we arrived ready to be eaten in the room the next morning.... not great!
The blinds were thick in dust, the windows and windowsills were filthy and full of cobwebs, the floor had not been cleaned of rubbish from the people before. The heater didn't work the lamps didn't work and the shades were hanging off and one of the low windows which the children could reach didn't shut properly.
Very quiet at night. Confortable bed. clean & tidy room
No soap or shampoo in bathroom. No baguette in fridge as promised
Good location, excellent for two and comfortable for four people. Good value for money and an easy commute to London via tube.
Unfortunately on the Saturday night we stay there was a wedding booked and we were unable to eat in the restaurant as planned - would advise checking before hand.
The closeness to the venue we were attending. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast- it was mean & disappointing
Location and funkiness were great. Bed and room was also good. It's unusual and cool. Loved aspects of this, and it is on the edge of brilliant.
Half eaten burger discovered in bedside table on last day, explains lingering aroma. Breakfast wasn't great, and cutlery and crockery wasn't cleaned. Banging music and parties kept kids awake, but in a fun way, (they danced all night) perhaps overcharged too.
No facilities on the Saurday due to a wedding . No sleep until 01.15 am due to music & noise . Room lacking drawers / shelves , no soap , milk in the fridge ( supposed to be fresh ) was blobby & unusable . Bread rolls not replaced after 1st morning . No knobs on doors so difficult to open & to close had to be slammed !!! etc
The decor of the room and en suite was lovely. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Pretty location.
Tables and benches outside the room window/slight lack of privacy.
The room was a garage next to the canal, the door lock was very weak and could be broken into. No 24x7 reception desk. I had to leave the key in the room and leaving at 7:30am. If you are looking to stay there, you are left at your own risk. Not recommended!
The staff were very friendly. The room appeared to be very clean
The area around the bungalow was not pleasant to look at, it backed on to some sort of warehouse and had abandoned wheel barrows, trainers etc strewn around. The large double bed was actually two singles zipped together with a thick uncomfortable seem down the middle of the bed. The room smelled absolutely disgusting, to the point that throughout the night I felt sick! it smells of mildew, stagnant water, but was a very strong smell that was worse around the bed and never went away. The shower leaks all over the floor. The continental breakfast was terrible! it consisted of two bread rolls on a plate and covered in cling film that was left on top of the fridge for the next day and two mini boxes of cereal. Inside the fridge was a dual layer tupperware box with two slices of ham in the top and sliced cheese and butter in the bottom. There was also milk and a bottle of water - although this was an old bottle that had been refilled from the tap - not what you'd expect at all! With the disgusting stench, the green illuminated exit sign and metal shutters with gaps galore, sleep didn't come easily and I was then awoken at around 6am by some sort of building works outside.
Location to london/uxbridge. Pretty pub and canal side location, the pub was very nice with good food. Would be great if breakfast was available in the pub on a morning even if you paid extra.
Breakfast was very poor placed in room the day before so very dry, the cereal wasn't replaced after the first morning, but still good value there are places around to eat breakfast as the pub isn't open till later
Friendly staff Nice rooms
Opening the room door was very difficult due to no doorhandle!! Food took a long time and several items were not on the menu and we were not told
Lovely place to stay and unwind staff very helpful will be going back
None only the weather
Room was great once in the room all was fine Staff friendly but seemed understaffed.
General entry very grubby and a bit off putting on arrival. Quite an expensive option for 1 person and my room right next to outside undercover smoking area with lights shining into room.
Great service staff where brilliant good location and value for money.
Beautiful Setting Clean Room Staff, well Chris, was amazing
Very Hot Room
