Public areas clean & modern The gents toilet in the bar area was a filthy, smelly disgrace. The cabin I stayed in was old & in desperate need of refurbishment.

A charming spot, the room was warm and clean and the heating kept wild drafts at bay, the bar was always busy whilst football was on and then became less crowded and intimate later, it was easy to get into conversation with locals and outside contractors alike, the staff were genial and helpful and chatty. I really enjoyed the stay. The weather was wild and windy, but I think the comfort of the portakabin like lodge just made it more fun. The tv was on the blink, but always easy to restart. Otherwise nothing was wrong.

The lodge was clean, tidy and I was delighted to be able to bring my dog with me. Facilities in the lodge somewhat dated and broken too. The towel rail was held up with black tape!

cheap and cheerfull , clean , no wi fi in rooms only available in the hotel itself , i prefer to skype in private to my partner , cold room due to being built in the 1970's so poor insulation , had to sleep with the one heater on all night something i never usually have to do , poor flow in the shower just a trickle when you turn the hot water up ,egg sanwiches two days on the trot in the packed lunch on white bread when i asked for brown , but for thre price if you are working away from home it is ok

Weigh inn lodges was very basic but for £30 a nite u don't expect anything else.staff were friendly. you could hear every bit of noise from either side of other lodges. Bathroom was disgusting. They were going to charge me £45 for room instead of £30.

When we asked for a better room (see below) we were given one with no hassle or argument. The breakfast was very good and the waitstaff friendly and helpful. The room we were assigned to was a small box with two very uncomfortable beds - one had all the springs sprung and it groaned noisily. We quickly asked for better accommodation and were given a room with better beds but there was a hole in the wall from the door handle. Overall impression of cheap and very basic lodgings. Perhaps if we had a room in the hotel proper it would have been better, but we stayed in the little shack-like hovels out back - kind of creepy, bordering on sleazy.

Good Location, excellent price, nice breakfast. Slow service for evening meal in bar at night and also at breakfast. Staff chatting at breakfast and tables requiring to get cleared. Shower was very poor, poor flow. Internet connection was poor.
