The staff here were wonderful and the food was very good. We stayed one night - very comfortable, well appointed room. The only issue was some noise from the road at the front.
Small friendly hotel. Great room and good food. Staff were excellent.
Very nice bedroom and luxurious bathroom (chose superior room) made it a pleasure to stay overnight. Food choice was really good and not overpriced and restaurant area was very nice. Great choice of beers and wines and the staff could not have been more attentive. Can highly recommend this place
We stopped at guest houses, B&Bs, motels and Hotels, travel lodges and even pub and Inns, AND THEN WE STAYED AT WELLINGTON! Brilliant.
Nothing at all, Everything from Ales, food, breakfast and staff was all perfect. We would like to give 5 stars and more :)
The room and the staff could not be faulted. The accommodation had clearly been refurbished recently and was highly acceptable, both visually and practically. The breakfast was very good and the items had clearly been sourced and chosen well
The sole negative point of our stay was in the morning when the television news sound and background music were being played at the same time. It meant that I had to cut my breakfast short. I was told, afterwards, that this was a mistake but I am a professional musician and such things to me are a 'never' event. It would not stop me returning.
The meal was lovely. We would certainly come again as it was the area we needed to visit.
Wifi was limited. no negative points
Our stay exceeded expectations of a night above a pub, which we would not normally do. Room was quiet, no noise from below. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast provided was very adequate. It was easy and inexpensive to catch a bus to and from centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful which topped off a very enjoyable stay. Would certainly stay again when next in Bristol.
Nothing to dislike
Look of hotel from the outside
location staff facilites food beer
Location great Breakfast choice was good Staff friendly Very comfy bed Great bathroom Lovely bathroom products
No biscuits on tea tray It wasn't made clear that you had to pay for a cooked breakfast
Location Bedding very comfortable New and modern Bathroom Good value food Good Soundproofing
Everything! We booked this randomly last minute and didn't expect much for the price, but it excelled all my expectations. It was clean, lovely rooms with tea and coffee and the breakfast was amazing
The only down side was I'm a light sleeper and I found there was quite a lot of noise at night coming from a boiler or something which kept me awake
Great room, Lively pub
V hot, Noise from traffic starts about 6 am. Ok in cooler weather when window can be closed
Lovely boutique B&B, clean, comfortable and friendly. Will definitely return.
Friendly staff, cracking food especially black currant sorbet!
Could do with wifi in the rooms.
I enjoyed a nice pleasant drink
Lovely staff Clean rooms Comfortable beds
Terrible wifi .. No access in rooms Wifi only worked well near front of pub which was very annoying considering price of rooms
The rooms were nice size bathroom was amazing.
Our room the wall looked a bit damp in one corner?
Accommodation and food
Very hot room, noisy on main road and busy junction.
Helpful staff Cleanliness of roomq
great room very polite and helpful staff clean and tidy all round, good spread on the continental breakfast and plenty of it.
Full English breakfast could have been included in the room price when you look at the cost difference on the menu to the supplied continental.
Rooms were very good, modern furnishing, excellent bathroom facilities.
Food was too highly priced and nothing special. Service was also not that quick despite being in the restaurant alone and early.
The friendly service provided by the staff and their willingness to accommodate our requirements. Chris, one of the waiters was especially charming, as was James, the General Manager. Our room was fresh and clean and our bathroom was spacious, attractive and practical. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience
Unfortunately, the customer toilets opened onto the bar areas - there are no corridors or second doors to isolate them from view when eating and drinking
Lovely modern clean and comfortable room.
No A/C in the room
Great room nicely fitted out and the staff were very helpful
I stayed over a couple of hot nights and had to have the window fully open. This would have been okay if I wasn't on the front of the pub right next a very busy and noisy road. If you are a light sleeper as for a room at the back of the building. The volume kept going from the TV when you changed channels, told the manager about it so hopefully they will get it fixed.
