I loved the White Company bathroom toiletries, fluffy towels & beautiful shower & bathroom experience. I also loved the fireplace in the room & the tasteful decor. Staff were very friendly.
The room felt slightly chilly on arrival.
Gastro pub of high standard and delicious food, Rooms were stylish and immaculate . Imagine the white company shop ; lovely clean white sheets and complimentary white shop company shower and shampoo :) always a good sign. Breakfast bar was delicious with fresh fruit , yoghurt and croissants and coffee. We only live down the road but would highly recommend to friends and family who come and visit for overspill accommodation.
Arrived late, but no problem despite the 21:00 check in limit shown on booking.com voucher. Friendly. Nice room.
Young but very friendly and competent service. room wasn't very big but cozy and quiet. The bathroom was top quality- great shower (which I didn't expect) and spacious for single travellers. Good restaurants in walking distance. And the pub belonging to the hotel is nice too.
1) The bed was great 2) The bathroom was newly decorated and the shower was fantastic.
1) I thought the food was extremely over priced for what you got. 2) The waitress wasn't very attentive, poor service. 3) Was not advised about the free Wi-Fi service or even offered
Nice pub/b&b. Perfect for a weekend getaway. The staff were very friendly and welcoming,
Excellent continental breakfast Off-street parking
Room very clean staff very helpful location
Everything. Really enjoyed our stay.
Really fab and friendly staff. The room was beautifully decorated . Breakfast was lush!
On a main road so noisy at night until the traffic settles down Shower was warm not hot on the day I was there
Bedroom very comfortable Great, roomy shower Tasteful, simple decor
No storage space in bedroom other than wall hooks Cooked breakfast extra
A lovely hotel with a fantastic restaurant downstairs. Clean and comfortable room and welcoming staff. I would definitely stay again!
It would be good if for the money you spend, it included a cooked breakfast rather than continental
Decor, hygiene, fresh coffee, spacious room, very comfortable bed, excellent staff and brealfast.
Noise! After the pub had closed guests were banging on the door, staff were dragging furniture about downstairs, people chatting noisily in corridor outside our room! But everything else about our stay was totally great so I would go back again with ear plugs, and then it should be excellent.
The bathroom was great wonderful bath and shower. Bed was comfortable and room was well fitted.
Difficult access to upper floor with a case. The stairs were steep and narrow. Staff were helpful though.
Good food. Very good room. The staff were very helpful
Quilt was too hot! Otherwise nothing!
Convenience, comfort, friendly staff and service
Booked with Booking.com at agree rate of £79 but when came to settle up told cost was £89. Did not think this was very good and Hotel said it was because they had given us a King Size Room not a double as booked. This was not at our request, so we had to pay extra £10.00. Think Booking.com and Hotel need to address this problem for future guests. Booking.com and Hotels response would be welcomed please.
I booked the Wellington for myself and a few colleagues during a visit to Filton. On the outside it looks just like a pub and so our expectations were low. But it was so much better! The rooms are lovely - well appointed and clean, our meal in the restaurant was great - with a good selection and good quality. My street cred has definitely gone up with my colleagues.
Friendly welcome, very comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet bedrooms despite the pub being very busy and noisy downstairs. Excellent breakfast, everything very fresh and well presented. Good location for us as near to our son's home but a bus/taxi ride from city centre.
The new menu, the restaurant food and staff were very good.
They have a problem with the smoke detectors in the bedrooms going off because they are positioned too close to the bath/shower rooms, picking up steam. When the detector is activated the staff turn off the fire alarm without checking whether there is a fire or not!
Modern, friendly, nice breakfast pleasant staff, good service a very nice experience
No mirror in bedroom, uncut bread for toast, only white available, having to do own toast if wanted
The breakfast was excellent and gluten free cereal and bread was available. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were helpful, courteous and very friendly.
The room and bathroom were not as big as the room we had a couple of years ago. I would have preferred a room which did not face the Gloucester road.
When we mentioned that two electric lamps were not working they were fixed by the evening.
Clean comfortable room. Friendly staff. Great continental breakfast
Everything: great staff (friendly and helpful), pleasant ambiance, scrumptious dinner, tasty beers, comfy bed, refreshing & plentiful shower (i.e. not one of those with the pathetic dribbles).
That I couldn't stay for longer.
The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for a busy pub on a main street. Excellent shower. The real ale was great in the pub downstairs and the menu looked good but we didn't eat there unfortunately.
Very disappointed with breakfast. I knew it was going to be a continental one but there was little choice, and far too carbohydrate/sugar heavy. We did pay extra for the cooked breakfast on the first morning, but even it was small for the money ( an extra £8).
