Great location,comfortable bed, friendly staff.
Friendliness and attention of the staff.
We'll run by a friendly and efficient team of staff
Good location excellent service in bar and restaurant.
Hot water pipes ran through bedroom. And fire from the bar heated bedroom wall. Stayed in February and bedroom far to hot. Slept with bedroom and bathroom windows wide open could not sleep due to very busy road.explained to member of staff who said there is nothing we can do. Found out we were the only ones in the hotel that night was not offered alternative room.
Excellent breakfast and restaurant and location.
Very nice Inn, lovely room, sofa in room made room even better, fresh towels every day. friendly helpful staff.
The only down side was the bathroom, there was a screw in showerhead to hold it in place ( waiting to be repaired we where told ) no plug in hand basin and toilet had slight leak at the base, but bathroom was very clean.
Location was perfect. The staff helpful. For £25 each is was value for money as this also included breakfast. Nothing special, but was ok for a night.
Heating was noisy.
Liked the room the staff were very friendly and approachable they even rang us to see if we wanted food as we were running late which no place I have stayed at before has done that would definitely stop there again.
Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. good food
bedroom a little too warm for us, solved by opening window. But the road got busy very early.
Food, staff & value
Staff, room, food, nearness to Chatsworth
Proximity to busy main road
The bar, the food and the Staff were all wonderful and having the breakfast included was excellent.
Unfortunately the soundproofing of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. We had to listen to the occupants in the next room snoring from 11.30pm to 7 am! Dreadful...
Really helpful and friendly staff, excellent food. Clean, comfortable bed. Warm, great location.Good parking. Everything you could want for a pleasurable stay.
Staff were kind and courteous the food was good maybe it's time to spend a little on the bedrooms.
Paper thin walls between us and next room could hear tv and private conversations , the plumbing in our bathroom was just as noisy.
All of it
Friendliness of staff/ Good room/large bathroom & very comfy bed/ good food.Garden looked lovely but as November didn't get outside. V large car park.Ideal location for seeing the Peak district.
Room was very warm due to due pipes. Road was very busy but didn't worry us. Could have table lamp as quite dark due to energy bulbs.
Rooms were comfortable and clean, food was excellent, staff were extrememly helpful and friendly. Although our room was situated next to a busy main road, traffic noise was on the whole well controlled with little heard other than the vibrations from heavy vehicles passing by. Very good value for money and would definately stay again.
The rooms are looking a little tired and shabby and although cleanliness wasn't an issue, they are definately in need of redecorating as the paint was peeling and they were generally showing signs of age/wear. My in laws were in the next room to us and said the window frames were black with mold. Also, the plumbing makes some really really strange noises and if anybody had showered/flushed in the night it would've woken everyone in the building.
lovely stay for one night ,
everything was good , had a good price online wouldn't have been so happy with price of £125 .
Very comfortable and friendly staff
Whilst the staff and service was generally quite good we suffered an inordinately long wait for our breakfast, some 35 minutes from placing our order, when it was not busy in the breakfast room.
I had parents staying in the caravan site near by so it was an excellent location for us.
Friendly staff, Good drink and food selection, Location for visiting Chatsworth
Room was very warm and traffic noise may be an issue in the summer.
Very comfortable bed and room environment. Staff were extremely friendly Breakfast included Good value for money
