good atmosphere,

very poor or no TV signal, poor sound insulation in rooms, limited afterhours attention

Helpful staff. Car parking.

Stiff tap in shower. Liquid soap. More hndles on walls to assist getting into and out of shower. TV screein too small. Not able to direct dial for making outside telephone calls.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The hotel was very well located next to Windsor Park.

We weren't able to get 2 rooms near one another. Also, I wish breakfast had been included.

Could have had more staff, as they were rushed off their feet, did their best to be as fast as possible.

Room size was good. Bathroom really clean.

The interconnecting door into another room allowed for lots of noise from other room early in the morning. Breakfast room too hot as was landing outside our room.

Really good value for money. Good pub food and a lovely clean big room. Staff were friendly - it was very busy in the pub, but we were treated very well

Location ideal for trips to London by train. The radiator was not working in my room, so a very helpful member of staff upgraded me to another room. I will certainly be staying again when I need to travel to London.

I had lost all my documentation and money but I was allowed to stay which was a risk for the hotel. I paid the following day by phone. I was very impressed by the staff.

Location and friendliness

The manager actually phoned me on the day to check on my arrival time and journey. The room was very comfortable, with a large bathroom and plenty of hot water. It was away from the road - I felt that they had put me in the nicest room available - so there was minimal noise. Warmly recommended.

ideally situated for university visit. food excellent, staff friendly and inviting. room clean.

Lovely hotel/pub, and the room was spacious, well laid out and luxurious ..it made our stay very special compared with a standard hotel room. Food and service was brilliant.

traffic noise, even though the double glazing, but the breakfast made up for it. A bit of a mix up with the card machine, but resolved in the end, and staff were very polite about it.

good meals provided, not requiring pre-booking.

Have stayed before and are locals,so we got a pleasant walk,great room(bridal suite and very good food served by enthusiastic and cheerful staff

There is a 40 minute wait at times for food and tables are all reserved at times...however you should be prepared for this as it is right next door to the lake and park.All in all this is not a complaint,just an observation for people wishing to visit.
