A very pleasant village pub with good accommodation and good food within easy reach of Bath (20min bus ride) Enjoyed the pub ambience and the well prepared food. A good non city location from which to visit Bath As it is a pub with accommodation rather than an hotel there was no lounge area you either sit in your room or in the bar area or outside weather permitting. |

A nice pub out of town (but within walking distance of Bath) with a good atmosphere, menu and range of beers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Being woken up by the chef arriving for work at 6.30 am with his music blaring out of his car. This issue was rectified the next morning and the host was apologetic. So no real harm done in the end. |

Wonderful room (especially the bathroom), well thought through and designed. Original art in the rooms gave a personal touch. Quiet and relaxing. The dinner was OK but nothing more - restaurant seating uncomfortable and starters uninspiring and not very well cooked. However, it's definitely 3 steps up from the usual country pub as far as accommodation is concerned. |

I really liked the atmosphere here. I felt most comfortable and welcome, especially being alone. It's location is 'out in the sticks' but still very close to the centre of Bath. |

A relaxed environment with great food and wonderful surroundings. Rooms were clean and modern with plenty of facilities. We were in a lower floor room (No 1) which was very noisy from the people above, largely because of the wooden floors. If we stay again we will go for a different room. |

Nice place, great staff, room had character and the locals were friendly. It's probably my fault for not checking, but breakfast not served until after 08.00 - if you are on business you will go hungry! |

The property is charming, located close to Bath with good parking. The room was adorable with great attention paid to details. The staff was exceptionally helpful and very professional. The food served at the inn was delicious. It met all expectations. Although it is challenging to get on the road to the property, it is well signed. |

Excellent room with plenty of extras normally associated with a more expensive accomodation. Although not included in the price, the evening meal was a little disappointing in the bar. Nevertheless, I would use this hotel again. |
