good localisation price red jam very helpful night porter
yellow lemon jam, but it's hard to discus about the tastes :)
Great location / near Victoria station
Hostel don`t have communal kitchen It was quite cold during the nights
lt'closeness to many interesting places you will like to visit inLondon.
Poor hygiene and people not booked in the hotel can sneak into the rooms to sleep in the night.which is very risky.
Location whas OK, and the prices for bed was low. Hostel looks verry nice from outside, and there is good pub downstairs.
One day there was no hot water under the shower and the wi-fi didnt work as it should. Once they did change lock code and didnt informe me so I had problems with getting in. The stuff wasnt helpfull at all. Breakfast just wasnt there and the beds were uncomfortable.
Rooms with a lot of people to meet, codes to enter the residential part and another for the room.
"Bathrooms" and all. Old walls that need works. Only 1 closed bathroom.
wifi is good.
breakfast not good. the shower water not warm. have to pay for the hair dryer. not a card to get into room, have to type code number every time.
Close to city centre and Victoria station, pretty cheap for London,
Very noisy during the night, poor breakfast, only three showers and toilets for 6 dorms,
The pub downstairs.
The pub downstairs is a little expensive for a traveller.
Love the venue
Extremely expensive food and no way to heat up your own food sucks, can't even make coffee
Close to major locations.Affordability.
Good price, good location, very close to Victoria coach and train stations. Lovely staff. The dorm was very clean and tidy, although, the quilt was paper thin, I was freezing during the night. But the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathrooms were ok but nothing amazing... I wouldn't have liked to have showered. Ideal for a 1 night stay.
It was very cheap and clean other hand the hostel is in heart of london
The bed was shaking too much when i turned in bed
Location near train and bus stations, friendly and flexible staff
small variety of food
The location was good and the price couldn't be beat!
The bathrooms were dirty. There was an incident in the middle of the night where guest were in the large bunk area yelling at each other about stealing beds.
we check-out at 11 am, but we had a bus at 11pm and we were allowed to store our luggage in the hostel for the whole day
- no kitchen - you are not allowed to keep food in your room (only in the luggage storage) - because of that you have to buy food at the bar or eat outside
There is a lot of renovation due in this house. Especially the bathrooms need a proper make over. It was clean but it had very little quality. Also the windows need to be replaced with double glased ones - which would actually also save you lots of money in the long term.
Close to victoria station, 24hr pub, cheap rooms
Mentioned lockers on the door but no lockers available within the room. shower inconsistance, taps not always works. breakfast buffets was minimal, you have to ask for hot water for hot drinks!
Location - very close to Victoria Coach station. I get there in 5 minutes walk in the midlle of the night and I was feeling safe. It is close to Victoria station too, around 10 minutes walk. And from there you can easily reach every part of London. Staff - very helpfull and friendly. I was feeling like at home. :) Hostel is cheap but it's still very clean and beds are pretty comfortable. I didn't have any problems with wifi, it was working fine all the time.
I didn't like other guests because they were very loud in the middle of the night too but there is nothing that hostel could do about that. So I don't have any negatives to say about hostel itself.
Staff,Facilities,Cleanliness were enough to stay for a day
it was our second time staying in this hostel so we obviously love it. location of this hostel is perfect.
the showers are a bit old and are not functioning properly.
Staff was really friendly and helpful, especially since my friend and I got there at 9am (check-in begins at 2pm) and they let us leave our bags in storage for the day. This hostel is within walking distance of the city center - about 15 minutes - and the coach station - only 5 minutes.
The bathrooms during the first night were horrendous. They were cleaned by the next day, but before that there was a lot of water on the floor and one of three toilets did not flush.
Location is good.
Manager was not helpful at all. It was very cold in the room and bathrooms could be more clean
Good location if you are visiting London for the 1st time.
Since we were in January, it was very cold in the room, I asked a girl at the reception for an extra blanket but she replied in an offensive manner that they don't have any extra. I was freezing for the next two night. Also, very negative thing about this hostel is that there is no common/normal room like in some other hostel where you can bring your alcoholic drinks (since there is a bar as a part of hostel where they sell too expensive beer)
I liked the atmosphere in the hostel and in the pub downstairs, you had your own space and although we were staying in a room with 15 beds, I never felt it was too crowded or scared for my belongings.
They could have a shared area where you could bring you own drinks, not that the only place you could hang out and drink beer was in the pub, where you couldn't bring your own beer. And the wi-fi was continously disconnenting.
