the location, the Fat Badger Pub.
breakfast was not as good as the last 3 visits, no fruit available. all eggs very over cooked. having to pay extra for vegetables with evening meal.
Rooms views n parking a bonus
Breakfast bit stingy if you didn't have the full breakfast you only got one of each bit. No alternative replacement
Location fab for shops and nightlife. General areas of hotel were modern and pleasant. Staff very helpful with where to go and directions. Onsite parking.
Room 103. Felt like we were in the back of beyond compared to rest of hotel. Room was small, dingy and very outdated, especially shower cubicle. Situated on a narrow corridor next to meeting/conference suites. Kept awake all night by noisy party goers running up and down corridor to use toilet facilities. Not a pleasant night's sleep.
The food was fabulous
It was in excellent position within walking distant of railway station. The Badger Bar excellent
We had no heating in the room when we arrived at 2.pm. Reported it and went out for a walk and coffee. On return we still had no heating. After reporting it three times finally we had a little fan heater brought to the room with two blankers. Was aked if we would like to move rooms. May be that should have been the response we should have had in the first place.
Great location small but lovely room and great staff. The Hotel was smart inside and out the pub attached had a great atmosphere and the food was great. We didn't dine on the evening but the bistro looked lovely.looking forward to going back.
The water in the shower was tepid in the evening and the morning.
The room was appalling. Tatty worn poor quality furniture. Stained chair. Marks on walls. Far from 4 star. Staff uninterested. Will never stay again or recommend to others.
The relaxed break due to both Harrogate the town and the hotel location and friendliness
The location is perfect, very comfortable bedrooms, breakfast was delicious
We were served Irish coffees in large brandy glasses
Great hotel, central location and friendly staff
Location is perfect for the centre of town. The fat badger is a good pub with a great atmosphere.
The room was very cold. The shower was poor.
Room was ok, a bit gruby in the bathroom.
Breakfast made me ill.
The location is brilliant for the centre of Harrogate.
The car park was tight to drive around The room was on a slant and my young daughter did not cope well with this We asked for a cot when we booked it, this was not provided There is no prices for breakfast/room service. We only wanted a piece of toast for our daughter, but was told that it was one price at £5. The shower screen leaked and so made the bathroom extremely wet and dangerous I wouldn't return here.
On the doorstep of the town, easy parking for £6 for the night. Fat Badger food was exellent.
The room I was allocated was not on of the refurbished ones bit old and tired but hey for £53 can't cmplian mid week.
fab staff,fab hotel
nothing to dislike
We liked everything about the hotel.the breakfast was really good.
We did not dislike anything really we thought the rooms could do with updated
The refurbished room was lovely. We booked dinner in the Main Restaurant and found it to be a lovely setting and excellent value. Staff in the Restaurant very professional!
Unfortunately I was very disappointed at the standard of the old un-refurbished room we were initially given. I was unaware when booking that the hotel was under refurbishment! All well in the end but spoilt the start of the break!
Location of hotel
Radiator not working in room - given an electric heater that dried the air out. Not offered alternative room. Receptionist did not seem that bothered when I informed her of lack of heating in room Curtain hanging off curtain rail Cold tap on bath was very stiff and could not turn it on Corridors cold and unwelcoming Breakfast - milk for cereal warm; marmalade jar on my table had already been opened and used and not replaced. Will not be staying again.
Room slightly dark. Could do with better light for make up
The newly refurbished rooms, the food and the location. The staff were helpful and polite. Would definitely stay there again.
Having to pay £6 per night parking.
Good location nice room and comfortable bed .
Small bathroom tiny bath !
A perfect location for the centre of Harrogate .
Executive single room did not resemble the picture on the website.
Staff, cleanliness , location , parking , fat badger .
The food was not great in the restraunt was disappointing but ok
The food was excellent, we can absolutely recommend the restaurant
No available plugs in the room, apart from an extension lead which wasn't adequate with our phones, tablets and kindles. Coffee and tea facilities were poor as due to the lack of plugs, drinks had to be made on the floor. We were placed in a room over the hotels 'Pub' which held a disco on the Friday night, we were not made aware of this impending occurrence at any time - as OAP's on a pleasant two days away for our Anniversary and Birthday it was a very unpleasant surprise. The Duty Manager was unhelpful and could only offer us 25% off a further visit - why would we even contemplate another visit we asked at £100 per night. This is not a 4* hotel.
