We were given a room on the 3rd floor that was very small and had a large hot water pipe running the whole length of the room making it very warm; you couldn't open the window as it was extremely noisy (from the kitchen fans). I asked to change rooms and was given a room facing the front that was bigger, quieter and much better. The room was warm but there was a fan already in place on top of the desk which kept the temperature down.
However there wasn't enough storage space in the room, just a small wardrobe. There was a drawer opposite the bed containing the coffee, tea, cups etc. and two bedside cabinets each containing a small drawer. We couldn't unpack all our clothes as there was nowhere to put them, so had to keep them in the suitcase. I would have liked to have had a chest of drawers or a few shelves so that we could have unpacked completely. When we were checking out, a couple in front of us were complaining about how hot and noisy their room was - it was the original room that we moved from!
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel and wouldn't hesitate in returning.
The location was ideal and the appearance of the hotel was very nice inside and outside. There was a lovely atmosphere in the bar, making it a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat.In the room, the bathroom was very nicely decorated and had a bath with a shower over it.
